Leading the future in luxury electric and mobility
At Lucid, we set out to introduce the most captivating, luxury electric vehicles that elevate the human experience and transcend the perceived limitations of space, performance, and intelligence. Vehicles that are intuitive, liberating, and designed for the future of mobility.
We plan to lead in this new era of luxury electric by returning to the fundamentals of great design – where every decision we make is in service of the individual and environment. Because when you are no longer bound by convention, you are free to define your own experience.
Come work alongside some of the most accomplished minds in the industry. Beyond providing competitive salaries, we’re providing a community for innovators who want to make an immediate and significant impact. If you are driven to create a better, more sustainable future, then this is the right place for you.
You Will
- End-to-End Launch Leadership: Own the integrated launch strategy for EDU, battery systems, inverters, and associated systems as well as body-in-white, paint, and general assembly systems. Deliver seamless transitions from concept to SOP and ramp-to-rate.
- DFM/DFA Integration: Drive early engagement with product development and engineering to embed design-for-manufacturability and design-for-assembly principles at the earliest stages.
- Program Milestone Execution: Lead all industrialization activities across prototype, VR, PV, MP, and Job 1 events—ensuring tooling, equipment, and process readiness at each phase gate.
- Cross-Functional Orchestration: Align product, process, tooling, automation, supply chain, quality, and operations teams for synchronized execution. Champion issue resolution and change management through the SOP window.
- Launch Governance & Visibility: Establish performance tracking frameworks, real-time dashboards, and executive reporting to ensure proactive escalation, risk mitigation, and decisive leadership across global sites.
- Team Building & Talent Development: Build and mentor a high-impact global launch team capable of managing simultaneous vehicle and powertrain programs. Foster a culture of ownership, agility, and accountability.
You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (equivalent experience acceptable)
- 12+ years of progressive experience in high-volume manufacturing or engineering, with a minimum of 5 years leading new product and powertrain launches
- Deep technical expertise in EV powertrain architecture and high-voltage safety systems
- Demonstrated success delivering complex manufacturing launches on-time, on-cost, and to quality across global footprints
- Proficient in gated product development processes, pre-production build coordination, and plant readiness activities
- Highly effective communicator and collaborator—skilled in influencing cross-functional teams and engaging at the executive level
- Resilient, detail-driven, and solutions-oriented; thrives in high-ambiguity, high-accountability environments
