
Sr. Engineer, Test and Integration
As an Senior Engineer in Chassis Controls & Electronics, you will develop, build, calibrate and validate the systems responsible for Chassis and Vehicle Dynamics control. You will work closely with teams across the engineering group to deliver world-class vehicle dynamics-shaping functions from concept to production.

Role:
- Develop, plan, and execute validation for software and hardware related to braking, steering and suspension control systems with excellence and great detail
- Create and execute system design validation plans for virtual, HiL and vehicle environments
- Develop test procedures, align with homologation, and write and maintain validation reports
- Support test automation and continuous integration
- Support root cause analysis for issues identified in prototype and customer fleet and propose corrective actions
- Support prototype vehicle software bring-up and troubleshooting
- Work with multiple complex projects in a demanding environment
- Travel domestically and internationally as required
Qualifications:
- BS/BEng or MS/MEng in a relevant Engineering/Physics/Mathematics discipline, or equivalent experience
- 4+ years of software/hardware testing experience
- Understanding of Vehicle Dynamics in theory and practice
- Hands-on practical experience in prototype development
- Ability to read and work with electrical schematics
- Understanding of automotive communication protocols and ECU diagnostics
Advantageous:
- Experience with verification/validation of control units
- Experience with Vector tools (CANape, CANalyzer, CDMStudio, etc.)
- Proficiency with software development (Matlab/Python/CAPL scripting, model based)
- Familiarity with ECE and FMVSS test regulations
- Familiarity with test equipment such as Torque Sensing steering wheels, instrumented tie rods, and GPS
- Vehicle testing and dynamic driving experience is a plus
- Desire for continual learning
- Excellent problem-solving ability, with an ability to use fundamental principles and data-driven action
Base Pay Range (Annual)
$154,000 - $211,750 USD
