
Senior Engineer, Chassis Controls Integration & Validation
As a Senior Engineer in Chassis Control Integration & Validation, you will manage, develop, and validate the systems responsible for Chassis and Vehicle Dynamics control. You will work closely with teams across the engineering group and suppliers to develop world-class traction control, stability control, torque vectoring, and other vehicle dynamics-shaping functions.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and assist in delivering software and hardware related to traction control, stability control, torque vectoring and braking control systems ensuring compliance with internal performance targets, safety requirements, and regulatory standard from initial concept to SOP with excellence and detail.
- Create, execute, and test system design validation plans covering virtual (SiL), Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiL), and vehicle-based testing activities to verify functional performance, fault handling behavior, and regulatory compliance.
- Design and validate chassis control systems including control strategies, signal flows, state machines, fault handling concepts, and interface definitions across Vehicle Controls, Motor Controls, Chassis Electronics, and Platform Software systems.
- Work closely with stakeholders and attribute owners across the company (Vehicle Dynamics, NVH, Vehicle Controls, Motor Controls, Platform Software) to ensure achievement of vehicle level attributes
- Manage multiple complex engineering projects in a fast-paced development environment, coordinating technical activities, prioritizing deliverables, and communicating system status and risks to stakeholders.
- Work in an agile environment to track tasks, mange bugs and maintain software quality.
- Travel domestically and internationally as required (25-50%).
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 4+ years of automotive experience
- Experience with Vector tools (CANape, CANalyzer, CDMStudio, etc.)
- Strong understanding of Vehicle Dynamics theory
- Proven delivery of world-class vehicle performance and braking control systems
- Hands-on practical experience in prototype development and vehicle validation
- Familiarity with software development (Matlab/Python/CAPL)
- Ability to read and work with electrical schematics, with sound understanding of automotive bus systems (CAN, Ethernet)
- BS/BEng or MS/MEng in a relevant Engineering/Physics/Mathematics discipline, or equivalent experienc

- Excellent problem-solving ability, with an ability to use fundamental principles and data-driven action
- Desire for continual learning
- Driven-vehicle attributes development experience is a plus
- Eager and strong fundamentals-based problem solving approaches
Base Pay Range (Annual)
$158,400 - $217,800 USD
