Lucid Motors will be opening a brand-new Sales and Delivery center in San Jose, CA.   The new  location plans to open in late Summer 2025 and will be located at 250 Stockton Ave, San Jose, CA 95126. 

This is a candidate prospecting post to generate interest in working at our San Jose Sales and Delivery Center.  We will start to interview qualified candidates in May/June/July 2025.  

We are seeking a various hourly positions such as part-time Brand Ambassadors, Sales Specialists, Delivery Associates, and Delivery Operations Specialists.    

We are also seeking salaried positions such as Studio Manager, Market Leader, and Delivery Supervisor.      

Part-Time Brand Ambassadors: 

If you are an effective communicator, love helping people and are thinking about joining the EV revolution, come join us!   The Lucid Brand Ambassador is the first point of engagement guests will have at the Lucid studio.  The role will welcome guests, resolve general inquiries, and schedule test drives.   Quality lead capture in CRM (Salesforce) inputs for customer interactions and outreach. 

Sales Specialists: 

As a Sales Specialist in a Lucid Studio, your primary focus will be to guide customers on their journey with Lucid as a main point of contact from sales, transaction facilitation, and successful delivery.  This role is pivotal in ensuring a seamless and personalized customer experience.  If you're achievement-oriented, thrive in goal-focused settings, and have exceptional relational skills, then you'll excel as a Lucid Sales Specialist.  Being a Sales Specialist at Lucid is a career-defining chance for those who are driven by the thrill of uncapped earning potential plus, have the stability of a guaranteed hourly wage.  Dive into a role where your efforts are directly rewarded, where your sales talent shines in a dynamic and high-achieving environment. 

Delivery Associates

As a Delivery Associate, your primary responsibility will be to successfully articulate and deliver the Lucid brand and ownership experience to our customers. On the day that customers receive their vehicles, you will walk owners through all the key features and functions of their Lucid vehicle. Deliveries should be tailored to the owner’s needs through asking the appropriate questions to deliver on an exceptional customer centric experience

Vehicle Operations: 

As a Vehicle Operations Specialist, your primary responsibility is to manage all onsite vehicles including sales inventory, used vehicles, lease returns, and internal fleet in partnership with both on-site and HQ-based teams. The Vehicle Operations Specialist is a critical partner in ensuring the readiness of inventory, flow of vehicle movements, and accuracy of inventory tracking. We prioritize a world-class customer service experience, and our Vehicle Operations Specialist plays a key role in continuing to build upon the Lucid Motors brand through their organization and support of the sales team.

Market Leader: 

Our Market Leaders are strategic seasoned retail professionals and naturally charismatic leaders. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the overall performance and outbound marketing efforts of the local or regional market.  The Market Leader has management and oversight for the Lucid studio in a retail environment.  You will be challenged to lead your team through training, coaching, motivating, goal setting and sales performance. You will be tasked with creating marketing and event opportunities in your local market that will maximize Lucid’s brand exposure and create more Lucid owners.   In this role, you will be measured by your ability to achieve targets and accountable for overall market operations, increasing brand awareness, driving optimal team performance, team development, and maintaining store operations. To succeed at Lucid, you must be results driven, action oriented, and hard working. You have a passion for and the ability to create exceptional customer experiences. 

Studio Manager: 

As a Studio Manager within a Lucid Sales Studio, your primary responsibility will be to directly manage, coach, develop and support a sales team with the successful articulation and delivery of the Lucid brand and ownership experience.  This role will report directly to the Market Leader to lead the studio team and processes that enable the studio to achieve their sales targets.

Delivery Manager:

As a Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all new vehicle deliveries, lease-returns, and trade-ins from your facility as well as onsite inventory. You will lead a team of Delivery Associates and Vehicle Operations Specialists ensuring seamless transactions and exceptional service from start to finish. This role is responsible for ensuring state and local compliance, implementation of internal business practices, and accurate completeness of every customer transaction. This is a critical role to ensure customer expectations and timelines are met in order to execute on successful customer delivery operations.   

Requirements for Sales and Delivery positions: 

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to build and maintain positive, productive relationships with peers and customers.
  • Passionate about electric vehicles and the premium vehicle market.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred. High school or GED required.
  • Availability to work flexible hours including weekends, evenings, and holidays in a retail environment
  • Proactive and action-oriented, achieving objectives with a sense of urgency and efficiency.
  • Exceptional time management skills and a highly organized approach to tasks and responsibilities, ensuring prioritization and multitasking.
  • Ability to travel as needed for events
  • Physical capacity to stand for extended periods and perform tasks like twisting, bending, squatting, and reaching, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Must maintain a valid driver’s license and be able to obtain a DMV Salesperson License.

Please note that pay ranges are dependent on the position title and level of experience. 

Hourly position ranges: $25.00 - $35.00

Exempt position ranges: $100,000 - $150,000
