
Sr. Systems Training Specialist, Software Engineering
We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Systems Training Specialist to design, deliver, and scale training programs that enable our global engineering workforce to effectively adopt and leverage Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), Software Development, Quality Assurance, ADAS, and other digital engineering tools. In this role, you will translate complex technical processes into accessible learning solutions that accelerate tool proficiency, ensure compliance with engineering standards, and enhance collaboration across multidisciplinary teams. You will partner closely with engineering leadership, tool owners, and program teams to align training initiatives with business and technology roadmaps, ensuring consistent and impactful learning experiences across the organization.
You will
- Develop and deliver training programs on MBSE platforms, software development environments, QA frameworks, ADAS tools, and other digital engineering technologies.
- Translate complex engineering workflows and processes into structured learning modules, guides, and microlearning resources.
- Create scalable, blended learning content (e-learning, ILT, microlearning, labs, simulations) tailored to technical audiences.
- Collaborate with engineering, IT, and QA leaders to ensure training content aligns with tool adoption goals and industry best practices.
- Deliver training sessions through multiple modalities: classroom instruction, virtual sessions, one-on-one coaching, and self-paced learning modules.
- Drive training initiatives that support compliance, quality standards, and process consistency across teams and geographies.
- Maintain training environments and demo systems to support hands-on learning experiences.
- Provide technical guidance during training sessions and troubleshoot user issues.
- Develop metrics to measure training effectiveness, user adoption, and competency development.
You bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in systems training, technical enablement, or engineering process training in enterprise or R&D settings.
- Strong understanding of MBSE methodologies, software development lifecycles (Agile, DevOps), QA processes, and ADAS tools and workflows.
- Expertise with LMS platforms, authoring tools (Articulate, Camtasia, etc.), and emerging learning technologies.
- Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into accessible learning materials.
- Strong presentation and facilitation skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
- Excellent written communication skills for creating clear, comprehensive documentation.
- Training or instructional design certifications are a plus.
- Certifications in Agile, DevOps, INCOSE, or QA methodologies are a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, scaling environment where priorities shift quickly, delivering high-quality training solutions under tight deadlines while maintaining excellence standards in our exciting, high-growth organization.
The position will report to the Global Systems Training Manager at the Lucid Phoenix Hub in Phoenix, AZ.
This position requires the ability to work collaboratively across time zones and may involve occasional travel for system implementations or stakeholder meetings.
