
Technical Project Manager, Ignition Systems
About the Role:
As the Technical Project Manager, Ignition Systems, you will lead the deployment of advanced Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) that power our production operations. In this role, you’ll manage complex technical projects, collaborate across engineering and IT teams, and deliver solutions that improve efficiency, quality, and performance. You will:
- Develop and execute detailed MES project plans, including scope, timelines, and budgets.
- Deploy, configure, and optimize MES solutions across the production value chain.
- Ensure seamless integration with ERP (SAP), PLM, and other enterprise systems.
- Conduct FAT and UAT, prepare test cases, and deliver reports.
- Analyze workflows to identify improvement opportunities and implement strategies to boost efficiency.
- Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and project budgets.
You bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in MES systems, IT infrastructure, and project management.
- Expertise in MES platforms and integration with ERP (SAP), PLM, and enterprise systems.
- Familiarity with industrial automation, SCADA, and PLC programming.
- Proficiency in SQL, database management, and data analytics tools.
- Hands-on experience with system configuration, troubleshooting, and technical support.
- Preferred: Experience with Rockwell FactoryTalk ProductionCenter and Industry 4.0 technologies (IoT, machine learning, manufacturing analytics).
