BSP Architecture & Development
- Lead board bring-up activities for automotive SoCs (Qualcomm, NVIDIA, Renesas, TI, etc.)
- Architect and develop Linux/QNX BSP, including kernel configuration and customization
- Develop and optimize bootloaders (U-Boot, LK) for fast and reliable system startup
- Design and implement device drivers (SPI, I2C, UART, PCIe, USB, display, audio, networking)
- Optimize system performance (boot time, CPU/memory usage, power management)
Vehicle Communication Architecture
- Define and implement vehicle communication stacks supporting:
- CAN / CAN-FD / LIN
- Automotive Ethernet (100/1000BASE-T1)
- SOME/IP, DoIP, TCP/IP-based services
- Design gateway and domain controller communication architectures
- Develop vehicle abstraction layer (VAL) and service interfaces for upper layers (middleware / Android Automotive)
- Integrate diagnostics (UDS/OBD-II) and vehicle health monitoring systems
System Integration & Debugging
- Lead hardware-software integration and system bring-up
- Collaborate with silicon vendors, Tier-1 suppliers, and internal teams
- Debug complex system issues using tools like JTAG, oscilloscopes, CAN analyzers, and kernel logs
- Ensure platform stability, scalability, and production readiness
Architecture & Leadership

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- 10+ years of experience in embedded systems and automotive software
- Strong expertise in Linux BSP development and kernel internals
- Hands-on experience with device driver development
- Deep understanding of vehicle communication protocols (CAN, Ethernet, SOME/IP, DoIP)
- Experience working with automotive SoCs and hardware bring-up
- Proficiency in C/C++ and embedded debugging tools
- Experience with Yocto or similar build systems
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with QNX BSP development
- Familiarity with AUTOSAR Classic/Adaptive
- Experience with Android Automotive OS (HAL / vehicle integration)
- Exposure to zonal or domain controller architectures
- Knowledge of functional safety (ISO 26262)
- Experience with vehicle cybersecurity (secure boot, encrypted communication)
- Cloud connectivity and OTA update integration experience
