Role Summary
The Supervisor I, Finished Vehicle Campaign & Inventory will oversee post-PDI vehicle flow, repair validation processes, and yard operations at Lucid's plant in Casa Grande, Arizona. This role is responsible for ensuring efficient vehicle movement, inventory accuracy, and seamless coordination between Quality, Manufacturing, and Logistics to deliver world-class vehicles to our customers.
This supervisor will lead a high-performing team, drive process improvements, support vehicle readiness, and uphold Lucid's commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence.
You Will
- Lead day-to-day operations for vehicle inventory control, yard management, and post-PDI processes.
- Supervise team members responsible for vehicle movement, repair validation, and quality checks, ensuring timely and accurate task completion.
- Validate repairs and confirm that all quality standards are met before releasing units for shipment.
- Partner with Quality, Manufacturing, and Logistics teams to manage vehicle flow and resolve abnormalities that may impact throughput or delivery timelines.
- Implement systems and visual management to monitor vehicle status, location, and readiness in real time.
- Identify and eliminate inefficiencies in vehicle flow, ensuring maximum utilization of yard space and minimizing bottlenecks.
- Develop and maintain KPIs for inventory accuracy, vehicle readiness, and repair cycle time, driving accountability across the team.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on process standardization, defect resolution, and yard/flow optimization.
- Ensure team members follow industry-standard safety, quality, and environmental guidelines.
- Create an engaging work environment where employees are valued, coached, and developed for future growth.
- Drive Lean principles to reduce waste, improve quality outcomes, and enhance team performance.
- Manage administrative tasks such as scheduling, reporting, training, and documentation for team members.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 3+ years of supervisory or leadership experience in automotive, logistics, or quality operations.
- Proven ability to manage teams in vehicle yard, inventory control, or flow management settings.
- Strong knowledge of repair validation, quality control processes, and vehicle readiness standards.
- Demonstrated ability to implement and sustain Lean Manufacturing or continuous improvement systems.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision while coordinating across multiple departments.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills; able to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Exceptional problem-solving, conflict management, and decision-making abilities.
- Flexible to work on second shift, rotating shifts, and weekends as required.
- Must embody Lucid's values with strong interpersonal, communication, and team-building skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Automotive manufacturing, finished vehicle, quality control, logistics, or vehicle yard operations experience.
- Experience supporting post-PDI, repair validation, vehicle readiness, campaign, or inventory control operations.
- Experience using Lean, visual management, KPI tracking, or continuous improvement tools to improve flow and operational performance.
