Maintenance Technician

POSITION SUMMARY
The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for preventative maintenance and repairs on machinery, and acting as a liaison with vendors. Day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Maintaining and repairing all mechanical equipment including Hilos
- Maintaining all heating and cooling, systems, dust collections, and associated controls
- Performing various tasks in carpentry, electrical, ventilation, etc
- Executing a preventative maintenance program for all machinery and facilitating program execution
- Coordinating work and materials with vendors/contract service personnel
- Ensuring all seasonal equipment is maintained in a proactive manner
- Supporting manufacturing needs in a timely and efficient manner to help ensure on-time delivery to customers
- Support the continuous improvement culture through great interpersonal abilities, being a team player and displaying initiative.

This position offers a $300 annual clothing allowance to offset costs for work apparel, protective footwear, and PPE.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to work and communicate effectively with fellow employees
- Ability to handle a variety of tasks at one time
- Organizational skills
- Ability to read electrical wiring schematics
- Experience performing maintenance on heavy woodworking machinery (CNC, lineal edgebander, etc)
KEY QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
- High School diploma/GED required
- Valid drivers' license
- Working knowledge of CNCs, edgebanders, and panel saws
- High voltage troubleshooting and repair (110,220,208,277,480)
- Low voltage DC troubleshooting and repair
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be able to drive an industrial fork lift (training is available)
