Driven to Deliver (What You'll Do)

Participating actively in Agile development lifecycle.
Working with Product and Engineering departments to understand and translate complex, technical information into appropriate testing documentation and processes using industry standard best practices.
Implementing test cases in TestRail and verifying fixes through regression testing individually.
Working with development and support leads to identify all testing needs, manual and automated, revise and edit, and determine the best solution for product and project scopes.
Working directly with the QA lead and development team to form a solid understanding of technical side for each project.
Overseeing the drafting of testing documents in TestRail.
Troubleshooting quality issues and modifying test procedures.
Ensuring the successful deployment of products into the market into executable test cases/strategies.
Responding to requests from the management, Development, and Product team.

Equipped to Excel (Qualifications)

4+ years of experience in QA Engineering or related fields.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Any automation technology e.g. Cypress or Java-Selenium.
Hands on experience on JavaScript or any other coding language.
Basic knowledge of node.js
Knowledge of BDD Frameworks -cucumber, jasmine, Mocha etc.
Version control system - Git or Bitbucket.
Knowledge of CI/CD tool, Jenkins/TeamCity is preferable.
Knowledge about API/DB testing.
Scripting or other automation tool experience, such as Java Script, Cypress, Browser Stack, Selenium, Test Rail.

Experience handling multiple responsibilities, tasks, and projects in a fast-paced environment preferred.

Ability to quickly learn an array of computer software and systems.

Work Environment:

We offer a mix of in-office and hybrid working. Remote work arrangements are not available for all positions. Please refer to the job posting detail to determine what in-office requirements apply. Where applicable, hybrid WFH days work must be conducted from your home office located in a jurisdiction in which Madison Logic has the legal right to operate. WFH requires availability and responsiveness on a full-time basis from a distraction free environment with access to high-speed internet. Please inquire for more details.

Salary Range and additional compensation, including discretionary bonuses and incentive pay, are determined by a rigorous review process taking into account the experience, education, certifications and skills required for the specific role, equity with similarly situated team members, as well as employer-verified region-specific market data provided by an independent 3rd party partner.
