POSITION OVERVIEW
Fine’ry is a modern lifestyle brand rooted in fragrance, with recent expansion into personal care and men’s categories. We are looking for a skilled and passionate Senior Brand Manager (Approx. 6-month contract) for Fine’ry with proven experience in brand marketing across fragrance, beauty, personal care, or consumer goods to help build, scale, and evolve Fine’ry as a cohesive lifestyle brand.
This is a high‑impact role focused on bringing Fine’ry to life through best‑in‑class visual merchandising, brand storytelling, and flawless, detail‑driven execution across retail, digital, and experiential touchpoints. This peson will lead go‑to‑market for new launches and seasonal programs across multiple categories, with a strong point of view on how Fine’ry shows up as a cohesive lifestyle brand across fragrance, personal care, and men’s. You’ll be at the forefront of shaping and scaling Fine’ry through strategy, storytelling, and full 360° execution across all consumer touchpoints.
Additionally, they should be culturally fluent and trend‑aware, with the ability to translate what’s happening now into relevant, shoppable, retail‑ready brand moments.
The role is based in NYC and you will be expected in office 3 days a week, at minimum per Company policy.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- GTM Strategy: Set vision and define success for Fine’ry as a fragrance-led lifestyle brand. Help define, lead, and execute GTM strategy and annual brand marketing plans. This includes business objectives, consumer and channel strategies, and translation of strategies to the consumer through the marketing mix. Translate brand strategy into clear retail, visual merchandising, and storytelling frameworks that scale across doors.
- Project Management Execution & Briefing: End‑to‑end execution of brand initiatives across fragrance and personal care, from ideation through launch. Own and manage multiple brand projects, including but not limited to: in-store visual merchandising (fixtures, displays, shelf sets, etc), campaigns, promotions, seasonal moments and innovation launches to deliver on-time with executional excellence. Serve as the day‑to‑day executional lead, ensuring timelines, details, and deliverables are met with precision. Develop clear, inspiring briefs that translate brand strategy into actionable creative direction, with a strong emphasis on visual storytelling and shopper experience. Partner closely with Sales and retail partners to ensure brand vision. Plan and flawlessly execute launch 360 marketing programs - including, but not limited to: assortment, launch toolkits, retailer pitches, competitive deep dives, and support of digital/e-commerce and website.
- Creative, Content & Brand Storytelling: Become the brand storyteller and visual editor for Fine’ry across fragrance, men’s and personal care. Ensuring every touchpoint—from shelf to content—feels intentional, culturally relevant, and unmistakably Fine’ry. Write clear briefs and bring a sharp eye to all creative, with strong instincts for aesthetics, copy, composition, and detail in creative and presentations. Build brand equity with an ecosystem of creative content and seamless connections through commerce. Oversee brand experience to seamlessly integrate across the consumer journey. Define data-based audiences, and partner cross-functionally to deliver marketing communications objectives.
- Budget Management & Leading through P/L: Own and manage marketing budget, ensuring strong organizational skills, with an ROI mindset on marketing investments and strong year-end budget delivery. Knowledge of P/L and cost management is an asset.
- Business Results and Opportunity Assessment: Analyze market and business to identify opportunities for growth, refine strategies and ensure objectives are met. Exercise critical thinking to set high performance standards, measure success, and adjust plans to deliver against growth agenda. Lead post-launch analyses and business reviews with support from teams and cross-functional partners.
- Skills & Capability Development: Coach and develop Associate. Develop business objectives, performance, personal development, and training plans. Provide coaching, feedback, and guidance.
- Cross Functional Management: Partner with internal teams and external agencies to ensure all product/seasonal activations are planned/executed on schedule and budget. Lead cross‑functional collaboration across Integrated Marketing, Sales, Creative, Innovations, Ops, and agencies to deliver seamless execution across categories. Balance multiple workstreams and priorities while maintaining brand cohesion and executional excellence.
- Champion the Brand: Drive alignment strategy with senior management and key commercial stakeholders at all levels. Responsible for consulting with cross-functional partners and driving alignment across the organization. Participate in key sales and marketing presentations.
Qualifications and Requirements
- 6+ years of brand marketing experience in CPG, beauty, personal care or fragrance; Fortune 500 experience preferred, startups and midsize also welcome
- Proven track record of launching new products, implementing go-to-market strategies and building brands
- Strong project management skills, ability to manage multiple categories and projects simultaneously under tight deadlines
- Highly organized, detail-obsessed, and comfortable owning complex execution
- Strong visual merchandising experience, with the ability to critically evaluate, improve, and elevate shelf presence.
- Deep understanding of omnichannel marketing, including merchandising and in-store retail, e-commerce, and digital. Trade marketing working with retailers (i.e. Target, Walmart, Amazon, etc)
- Deep interest in and knowledge of fragrance and beauty trends. Cultural-forward and trend savvy
- Data-driven. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate it into action. Knowledge of IRI/Nielsen is a plus.
- Impeccable communication and storytelling skills—both written and verbal. Must be comfortable creating presentations and presenting in key stakeholder/ retail meetings.
- Creative thinker with a sharp eye for creative, aesthetics, and copywriting. Ability to translate to omni-channel storytelling.
- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate with all levels, partner well with cross-functional team, agencies and retail partners
