As Director of Customer Growth Marketing at MaintainX, you will lead our customer expansion and lifecycle marketing initiatives. This role will drive expansion revenue growth from existing accounts via demand generation campaigns, in addition to owning our customer lifecycle marketing to progress accounts through the buyer’s journey. You will have a demand generation budget to deploy to expand accounts, with driving growth from key Enterprise accounts being a specific focus. You will oversee and develop the current Customer Marketing team of two. You will apply your passion for customer growth to help us innovate new ideas and growth strategies. This role reports to our Vice-President of Demand Generation.

What you'll do:

Customer Expansion:

  • Own the Marketing-influenced expansion pipeline number.
  • Develop and execute multi-channel demand generation strategies to drive customer expansion through upselling and cross-selling.
  • Develop and deploy account-based marketing strategies for key Enterprise accounts in close collaboration with Sales and Marketing teams.
  • Plan and leverage in-person field events, in collaboration with Field Marketing, to drive account expansion.

Lifecycle Marketing:

  • Own the end-to-end lifecycle marketing strategy to progress accounts through the buyer’s journey, from lead through closed-won and expansion.
  • Partner with our SDR team to design and optimize effective Sales nurture sequences to convert leads into Sales opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with our Growth Product team and our Director of Web Optimization on the PLG journey for trial accounts.
  • Develop segmentation strategies to deliver highly targeted and effective communications throughout the customer lifecycle.

About you:

  • 7+ years of experience in B2B marketing, with a strong focus on customer expansion and lifecycle marketing strategies.
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth through existing customer base in a B2B environment, ideally driving Enterprise account expansion.
  • Deep understanding of B2B sales processes, account-based marketing, and customer lifecycle management.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to derive actionable insights from complex data sets.
  • Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and marketing automation platforms (e.g., Outreach, Iterable, HubSpot).
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
