Senior Product Designer

We’re looking for an empathetic Senior Product Designer to help us build and grow our product. This is a very hands-on role with self-management responsibilities. The position will evolve as the team grows. This is a role for a creative individual with excellent aesthetic judgment and willingness to collaborate within a team environment. You’ll help not only collaborate on MaintainX experience but inspire and elevate the team by producing work that is always raising the bar and taking a user experience first approach to solving problems. Your work will allow our customers to feel delighted every time they use our product. 

As Senior Product Designer, you will be involved across the entire product lifecycle, from ideas through wireframing and prototyping to final design.

What you’ll do:

• You will join a multi-disciplinary team of designers, product managers, and engineers, collaborating on the scope definition, ideation, prototyping and delivery of usable and delightful designs to meet product definitions and business objectives.
• You will be hands-on throughout the end to end development process from definition through design, build, test, release and maintenance of the product features.
• You will present your work to your team and cross functional stakeholders, including Sales, Marketing and Leadership, effectively communicating your decision making process, and integrating feedback from different perspectives and needs.
• Help cultivate the design culture of the team and the company, including championing user-centric design thinking across all our initiatives and maintaining a collaborative design process.
• Collaborate on defining and document our Design System, collaborating with other designers and developers to work and iterate our current components and layouts.

About you:

• 4+ years experience designing and delivering products that users love across mobile & desktop.
• Deep understanding of Apple’s human interface design guidelines, Android design and other mobile platform designs, including Google’s material design.
• Working knowledge of modern design tools (ie. Figma)
• You have a portfolio showcasing relevant design work illustrating your process and contribution to specific projects.
• Good English level for speaking and communicating effectively your ideas.
• You’re flexible in your approach and embrace a challenge; you can come up with new ways of answering research questions quickly and communicating the results in a memorable, impactful way.
