IT Technician

We are looking for an IT Technician passionate about helping others who want to grow alongside MaintainX.
What you'll do:
- Lead, support, and collaborate in the organization of the process and practices of the IT team.
- Act as a key resource for the configuration, support, and procurement of hardware and software components.
- Collaborate in strategic planning of hardware and software procurement.
- Provide technical support and information to users.
- Maintain hardware and software inventory.
- Document and share IT processes.
- Collaborate with the security team to ensure workstation and network security.
- Maintain relationships with different employees and departments.
About you:
- 3+ years of IT technician experience.
- Experience with supporting Windows and MacOS.
- Knowledge of computers and their components.
- Experience with Google Workspace.
- Experience with OKTA IDM.
- Experience with Mobile Device Management solutions (Kandji/NinjaOne.
- Basic knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTPS, 802.1x) Ubiquiti/Cisco environments.
- Experience in customer service.
- Ability to prioritize tasks when under pressure.
- Aptitude for troubleshooting and problem-solving.
- Familiar with Windows and macOS.
- A DEC in computer science technology or equivalent.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both French and English.
Bonus if you have:
- Knowledge of command line tools.
- Experience with security tools.
- Ability to communicate technical information clearly to less technical users.
- Ability to adapt quickly to an existing, complex environment, and learn new concepts and software.
- Self-motivated, independent, detail-oriented, responsible team player, exhibiting exceptional relationship management skills.

- Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
