What will your day look like?

At VML MAP, you will play a pivotal role in mapping out and enhancing business processes at the intersection of people, tools, and methodologies. Your work will be foundational in establishing efficient internal delivery models that align with our company principles and meet client expectations. Each day, you'll engage in collaborative efforts to design and optimize processes that drive success for some of the world's most esteemed brands. 

More specifically, your tasks include: 

  • Leading workshops and conducting interviews with both external clients and internal stakeholders to gain insights into current marketing practices.
  • Designing future-focused marketing processes by analyzing gathered data and aligning them with the client's strategic goals and organizational structure.
  • Redefining roles and responsibilities to seamlessly integrate with newly developed processes.
  • Evaluating and recommending enhancements to the client’s platform landscape to ensure robust support for new processes.
  • Identifying opportunities for improvement and providing actionable recommendations to enhance performance.
  • Creating comprehensive operational playbooks and compelling presentations.
  • Developing and delivering training materials to educate stakeholders on new processes, tools, and methodologies.
  • Supporting clients through the implementation phase, addressing feedback, and resolving any emerging challenges. 

Who are you going to work with?

You will join a vibrant and diverse team of around 20 process consultants, primarily based in Copenhagen and London. This role offers a chance to immerse yourself in an international setting where personal and professional growth is encouraged. You will collaborate closely with experts from our technology, data, creative, and client teams across various global offices, including those in the US, UK, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Spain, Portugal, Canada, and Thailand. As leaders in our field, we partner with some of the world’s most admired brands to drive transformation. 

What do you bring to the table?

You are an analytical thinker with a knack for navigating complex environments. Your logical approach allows you to dissect intricate business processes and reassemble them into cohesive, efficient systems. You thrive in dynamic settings, bringing a flexible mindset and a willingness to roll up your sleeves and get tasks done. Additionally, you are a proactive and sociable colleague, and you excel at building and nurturing relationships with colleagues and clients alike, ensuring seamless collaboration and successful outcomes.  

Ideally, you also posses:

  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar role. 
  • Strong experience in mapping out and optimizing business processes, preferably with client-facing responsibilities.
  • A background in agency or consultancy settings is highly advantageous.
  • Preferably a relevant master's degree; ideally in business administration, marketing, social sciences, or a related field.
  • Proven ability to navigate and thrive in complex environments both independently and collaboratively.
  • Exceptional communication skills, including research, writing, and presentation capabilities.
  • Strong aptitude for forming and sustaining cross-functional relationships.
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint and familiarity with tools like Miro, SharePoint, Lucidchart and Visio.
