Miner Technician I
SUMMARY
The Miner Technician I will be responsible for maintaining and repairing mining equipment, ensuring efficient operations in compliance with safety standards. Troubleshooting and implementing preventive maintenance procedures will be key aspects of the role.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Perform routine inspections on mining equipment to identify and address potential issues.
- Conduct repairs and maintenance tasks to ensure optimal functionality of machinery.
- Collaborate with mining engineers and other team members to troubleshoot equipment malfunctions.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines during all mining operations.
- Assist in the installation and setup of new mining equipment.
- Monitor equipment performance and efficiency, making adjustments as needed.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and equipment status.
- Replace and or blow out air filters as needed.
- Operate various tools and machinery required for maintenance tasks.
- Stay informed about advancements in mining technology and equipment for continuous improvement.
- On call during emergencies.

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or vocational training in mining technology is a plus.
- Minimum of 1 year experience production, manufacturing, construction, shipping, electrical and/or troubleshooting.
- Ideal candidates will have some experience in production, manufacturing, construction, shipping, electrical and/or troubleshooting.
- Strong knowledge of mining equipment, machinery, and associated technologies.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and engineering drawings.
- Excellent teamwork and communications skills and attention to detail.
- Must have the ability to be on your feet 7 hours per day.
- Ability to lift/carry 30-50 lbs.
- Willingness to adhere to strict safety guidelines.
