Mining Protocol Intern (Summer 2025)

SUMMARY:

The Mining Protocol Intern will be responsible for supporting our MIS team in various tasks and projects aimed at improving our mining protocols. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in MIS.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Analyzing existing code, architecture, and infrastructure related to mining protocols
• Deploying and managing services to ensure efficient mining operations
• Understanding and monitoring critical metrics for observability to improve reliability
• Collaborating with team members to optimize mining protocols and processes
• Participating in the development and implementation of new mining strategies
• Supporting the team with administrative tasks as needed

• Currently enrolled in a relevant degree program (e.g. Computer Science, Software Engineering)
• Strong interest in bitcoin and bitcoin mining  
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 
• Experience with Rust or similar programming language 
• Experience with observability and analysis tools
