Job Overview
Marketech International Corporation USA is seeking a motivated and safety-focused Electrician Apprentice to support electrical installation activities on large-scale semiconductor construction projects throughout the Phoenix area.
This role works alongside experienced Journeyman Electricians, Lead Electricians, Foremen, and Supervisors to install, maintain, test, and troubleshoot electrical systems in commercial, industrial, cleanroom, and high-tech manufacturing environments. The Electrician Apprentice will assist with conduit installation, wire pulling, cable routing, electrical equipment installation, device terminations, material handling, and other field activities under appropriate supervision.

Key Responsibilities
Electrical Installation & Field Support
- Assist Journeyman Electricians, Lead Electricians, and Foremen with electrical installation activities.
- Pull, route, label, and terminate electrical wiring, cables, and related components as directed.
- Assist with the installation of conduit, cable trays, supports, raceways, electrical boxes, panels, and electrical equipment.
- Support panel installations, equipment hookups, device terminations, and basic electrical assembly activities.
- Assist with installation of lighting, controls, receptacles, switches, power distribution components, and other electrical systems as assigned.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, electrical drawings, layouts, and installation instructions under supervision.
- Support commissioning, startup, testing, troubleshooting, and corrective maintenance activities as directed by licensed electricians or supervisors.
- Help identify material shortages, installation conflicts, damaged equipment, or safety concerns and communicate them promptly to the appropriate team member.
Tools, Materials & Jobsite Organization
- Safely operate hand tools, power tools, testing equipment, ladders, lifts, and other approved jobsite equipment.
- Perform material handling, inventory tracking, tool organization, and equipment-staging activities.
- Assist with receiving, organizing, transporting, and maintaining electrical materials and supplies.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas in accordance with project standards and 5S practices.
- Support daily jobsite setup, cleanup, housekeeping, and work-area organization.
- Help ensure tools, equipment, materials, and installation areas are properly secured and maintained.
Safety, Quality & Compliance
- Follow all company safety policies, OSHA requirements, site-specific procedures, PPE requirements, and cleanroom protocols.
- Participate in daily safety meetings, toolbox talks, pre-task planning, and other required safety activities.
- Follow lockout/tagout procedures, electrical safety requirements, hazard-communication practices, and supervisor direction.
- Support quality installation practices by following approved drawings, specifications, work instructions, and installation standards.
- Report unsafe conditions, damaged tools, electrical hazards, near misses, and quality concerns immediately.
- Maintain a professional, dependable, and safety-first approach while working on active construction projects.
Training & Career Development
- Complete assigned tasks under the supervision of licensed electricians and project leadership.
- Participate in apprenticeship training, on-the-job learning, technical instruction, and skill-development opportunities.
- Build working knowledge of electrical systems, installation methods, construction drawings, tools, materials, and jobsite procedures.
- Demonstrate a willingness to learn advanced electrical installation, troubleshooting, commissioning, and semiconductor-facility practices.
- Support team goals by maintaining reliability, punctuality, accountability, and a positive attitude.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Enrollment in, completion of, or willingness to enroll in an approved Electrical Apprenticeship Program.
- Basic understanding of electrical systems, construction practices, and jobsite safety requirements.
- Ability to read a tape measure and use basic hand tools safely.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn.
- Ability to follow instructions and complete assigned work under the supervision of licensed electricians.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a construction team.
- Reliable transportation to project sites throughout the Phoenix area.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and perform physically active work for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions, active construction environments, and cleanroom or non-cleanroom project areas.
- Ability to work on ladders, lifts, elevated platforms, and other approved access equipment when required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous construction, electrical, maintenance, or trade-related experience.
- OSHA 10 certification.
- Experience working in industrial, manufacturing, cleanroom, semiconductor, or commercial construction environments.
- Basic blueprint-reading, schematic-reading, or electrical-drawing experience.
- Familiarity with conduit installation, wire pulling, cable tray systems, electrical panels, or device terminations.
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, meters, and basic testing equipment.
- Enrollment in an electrical trade school, apprenticeship program, or related technical-training program.
- Bilingual English/Mandarin Chinese communication skills are a plus, but not required.

Work Environment
This role supports active commercial, industrial, semiconductor, and cleanroom construction projects throughout the Phoenix area. Work may occur in semiconductor manufacturing facilities, cleanroom environments, non-cleanroom areas, outdoor construction zones, and other active project locations.
The Electrician Apprentice must be comfortable working in a physically active construction environment and wearing required personal protective equipment. The role may require standing, walking, bending, lifting, climbing ladders, working on elevated platforms, and adjusting to changing project conditions, schedules, or work locations.
