Principal Marketing Operations Specialist

Role Summary
As a Principle Marketing Operations Specialist, you will be part of our Demand Generation team, supporting the success of our B2B lead generation initiatives by ensuring marketing execution is scalable, consistent, and measurable. This is a hands-on individual contributor role. You will execute day-to-day marketing operations while also owning the processes and standards that reduce manual work and enable automation over time.
What will you own?
- Manage and support all Marketing campaign efforts in Marketo, including but not limited to:
- Creating and maintaining web forms
- Lead list uploads
- Campaign creation
- QA and troubleshoot tracking issues for the above
- Manage email operations, such as:
- Creating email templates / filling template with content
- Scheduling and sending emails
- Email performance reporting
- Own the definition, documentation, and enforcement of marketing operations processes, including:
- Campaign and program naming conventions
- Campaign type taxonomy
- List upload templates and required fields
- Data standards required for automation and reporting
- Support and maintain the B2B lead lifecycle in Marketo and Salesforce, ensuring:
- Accurate stage progression
- Consistent definitions
- Reliable funnel and conversion reporting
- Partner with regional marketing teams to drive alignment on shared definitions and templates
- Identify manual, repetitive workflows and work with Business Systems to design and enable scalable automation
- Manage Marketo system changes and coordinate with Business Systems
- Ensure system adherence and data quality across Marketo and Salesforce
- Build and maintain reports to track lead progression and campaign performance
- Own and deliver systems training for relevant users
- Track project progress, communicate risks or delays, and proactively flag areas for improvement
- Any other duties as reasonably required
What you have:
- Proven experience in marketing operations or marketing automation (B2B preferred)
- A good understanding of digital marketing tools such as Google AdWords, Google Analytics, Drift, etc.
- Strong organisational skills, detail-oriented, analytically curious and highly motivated to succeed in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Experience using marketing automation, preferably Marketo
- Experience using Salesforce CRM
- Ability to balance hands-on execution with process improvement and standardization
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal), with fluency in English
Salary Range
The pay range for this role is expected to be between $112,500 - $150,000 USD (annually). Actual base pay could vary based on factors including but not limited to experience, subject matter expertise, geographic location, certifications, licenses, business needs and the applicant’s skill set. The base pay is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Other components may include a comprehensive benefits package. The estimated compensation range listed in this job posting reflects base salary only.
