Senior Project Manager- Campaign and Content (Client Services)

About this role:

MATTE Projects is looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to support our Campaign and Content projects within the Client Services team.. This role requires a certified Agile Project Manager who is adept at internal resourcing of the creative team, ensuring optimal workflow and efficient project execution. The ideal candidate will serve as a core liaison between the creative, production  and client service teams, managing timelines, resources, and deliverables to drive success across branding, identity, campaign, and content initiatives. This person will provide a consistent source of truth, from beginning of a project through to delivery/execution. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning Lead development and maintenance of timelines, estimates, and Statements of Work in coordination with Client Services, Creative and Production teams
  • Project Kick Off: Work with stakeholders to cast, define briefs, build a roadmap, and delegate by breaking down project plans into smaller tasks for project teams. 
  • Resource Management: Collaborate with Creative Directors and Client Service to identify and secure resources for various work streams and deliverables against Statements of Work (SOWs).
  • Timeline Ownership: Develop and maintain comprehensive, visual timelines for each work stream, track and report progress to all stakeholders
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Maintain strong communication practice and documentation to effectively manage resource allocation, workflows and the flow of information amongst project team
  • Quality Control: Keep cross-functional teams faithful to the plan and SOW from kickoff to delivery, ensuring each project is on time, on budget, and meets MATTE standards.
  • Administrative Management: Responsible for keeping internal systems & tools up to date
  • Post-Project Evaluations: Conduct project retrospectives to assess outcomes, identify improvement opportunities, and integrate best practices for future projects.
  • Team Collaboration: Cultivate a positive work environment by promoting teamwork, creativity, effective communication and inspiring the team with a solution-oriented approach 
  • Talent Management: Build a robust network of freelance talent across creative disciplines to supplement our internal resources as needed. Manage and expand our creative internship program.
  • Industry Awareness: Stay up-to-date on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in project management and creative production.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Design, or a related field.
  • Agile Project Management certification required.
  • 5-7 years of project management experience, ideally in a creative agency or studio.
  • Proven success managing multiple projects from inception to delivery, with a strong focus on timelines and budget adherence.
  • Exceptional communication skills for effective cross-functional collaboration with internal teams, clients, and external partners.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with a commitment to detail and quality.
  • Proficiency in project management software such as Asana, Trello, or Monday.com. Familiarity or experience with Airtable is a plus as we use this system internally.
  • Experience or knowledge in Adobe Creative Suite and a passion for innovation, creativity, and effective storytelling.
  • Flexibility to navigate changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Positive attitude, commitment to excellence, and focus on client satisfaction and team success.
  • This role requires 4x day per week in office, located in Soho Manhattan

 

Compensation: $100,000-130,000/year based on experience
