About This Role
We are seeking a Senior Content Producer to join our Production team. Reporting directly to the Director of Content Production, this role will lead content and film productions across MATTE’s diverse client portfolio, spanning campaigns, branded content, and experiential work. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in line producing along with experience working cross-functionally within agencies or in-house brand teams. You should be equally comfortable managing the creative and logistical demands of a project, balancing scope, timelines, and resources, while building trust with clients and internal teams.

This is a senior-level production role for someone who thrives at the intersection of creativity, logistics, and business, bringing bold ideas to life while ensuring flawless execution.

Responsibilities

Production Leadership

  • Oversee all phases of production from pre-sale through delivery, including bidding, pre-pro, shoots (union & non-union, domestic & international), and financial reconciliation/wrap.
  • Manage productions across a wide range of content formats and budgets, from nimble social and digital campaigns to large-scale global brand initiatives, with experience handling budgets that exceed $1M.
  • Partner with Client Services, Creative, Strategy, Finance, Legal, and Post teams to translate concepts into executable production strategies.
  • Lead pre-pro meetings, anticipate risks, and adapt plans with agility while serving as the client-facing lead during production.

Content Expertise

  • Produce across multiple content formats including campaigns, branded content, live events, TVCs, social-first content, print/OOH, and digital.
  • Work closely with creative teams to align production approaches with the medium, whether live action, photography, VFX, CGI, animation, or hybrid executions.

Team & Vendor Management

  • Source, hire, and manage production crew, vendors, and freelance talent across projects.
  • Build and maintain strong vendor relationships and an extensive production network.
  • Mentor and support junior producers and freelance production hires within the department.

Quality & Process

  • Ensure deliverables meet MATTE’s creative standards and align with client brand guidelines.
  • Contribute to the evolution of production workflows and best practices across the team.
  • Stay ahead of production trends, technology, and techniques to keep MATTE’s work forward-thinking.

What You Bring

  • 5–7+ years of production experience with a strong background in line producing.
  • Experience working in agency or in-house brand environments, collaborating across creative, client, and business functions.

  • Proven ability to manage productions across a broad range of scales and formats, from quick-turn digital/social to complex global campaigns.
  • Experience managing production budgets that exceed $1M.
  • Comfort working across both domestic and international productions, union and non-union.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard budgeting and scheduling software (Showbiz preferred).
  • Strong vendor network and industry connections.
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
  • A problem-solver who thrives under pressure and can pivot quickly when challenges arise.
  • A collaborative team player with leadership experience and mentoring skills.

Compensation: $100,000-$130,000/year based on experience
