As a People Team Generalist reporting to People Team Lead, you’ll contribute to company & employee success as a member of the People Team. You’ll join a group of operations professionals supporting talented engineers – all focused on creating best-in-class silicon for high-performance and sustainable GenAI.  As part of a small team, you’ll see your ideas come to life, and see real impacts of your work.  This role is hybrid (onsite Mon - Thurs) at our office in Mountain View.

  • Contribute to our people strategy, supporting People Team Lead on areas including:
    • Talent management, Professional Development & Leadership 
    • Performance & Compensation Strategy
    • Retention
    • Engagement & HR Comms
    • Organization Feedback 
    • Recognition & Rewards
    • People Analytics
  • Collaborate with Office Manager and Executive Assistant with planning of culture events, and support to workplace experience
  • Partner with People Team Lead to drive day-to-day tactical execution of People Ops including:
    • Benefits support & management
    • Payroll processing
    • HRIS & employee data management
    • Onboarding & Offboarding
    • Employee communications
    • Compliance & policies
    • Vendor communication
    • Liaising with Immigration law firm & outside counsel on related matters
  • Collaborate with People Team Lead, Managers and Team Members to continuously improve and evolve our practices as the company grows

 

Who you are:

  • 0-2 years experience in People Ops, HR generalist, or HRBP or related role
    • If you are new to the workforce, you may have other demonstrated experience (volunteering, academic work, other) and references to back it up
  • You are comfortable balancing (and organizing) many action items, and moving quickly to support. You’ve developed a system for appropriate prioritization and have strong follow-through.
  • You have a “Get Things Done” mentality. You roll up your sleeves to proactively problem-solve, undeterred by challenges and limitations. The words “that’s not my job” are blasphemy!
  • You are excited rather than intimidated by unknowns and how the role will evolve as we grow
  • You are a strong communicator, with ability to flex to various styles (since you’ll communicate with everyone in the company). 
  • You are genuinely interested in people and see support of employees as enabling people’s best work for the success of the company.
  • You are able to context switch, shifting between tactical and big-picture. You can toggle between the operational and emotional aspects of HR work with ease.
  • You believe that kindness matters. You have a strong regard for the dignity and lived experience of others. You can spot situations at work where kindness and respect may be lacking, and bringing it back to basics.

    • 1-2 years experience - 108 - 122K
