Maven is looking for a SVP, Payer Growth who will bring deep expertise and relationships in healthcare to build, evolve and grow our partnerships with payers and other channel partners; including existing relationships with national and regional health plans, PBMs, and other channel partners. Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, the successful candidate will enable our team to reach ambitious sales goals, hit revenue and profitability conversion targets, and successfully operationalize our relationships to drive innovation as we continue our rapid growth and service to more members than ever before.
As a SVP, Payer Growth at Maven, you will:
- Manage, cultivate, and grow the Payer/Channel team, who oversee each of our channel partnerships, to collaborate effectively across the company to hit ambitious sales, revenue, and profitability targets
- Work closely with Finance and Operations to understand the core drivers of channel P&L performance, consistently monitor with appropriate dashboards, and manage cross-functional performance improvement initiatives
- Nurture and grow our payer and channel relationships, both personally and by managing our Executive team to lead in their own relationship engagements
- Support Maven Channel account execs in developing and executing against partner level GTM strategies
- Serve as the executive sponsor in channel exec relationships and meetings
- Ensure that new capabilities and partnership models are operationalized across the company, including billing and eligibility management
We’re looking for you to bring:
- 15+ years relevant experience that includes:
- Deep relationships with, or experience working in, health plan organizations across a variety of functions
- A track record of hitting and exceeding ambitious sales quotas managing high-performing sellers and account managers
- Successfully building, leading and scaling teams
- Building and scaling systems and processes in high-growth, fast-paced, high-performing environments
- Demonstrated ability to develop meaningful executive level relationships with clients/partners
- Embodies Maven’s values, including walking through walls and embracing a service mindset
- Is a strong executive communicator, partner and teammate
- Is effective at navigating ambiguity and leading through change
For candidates in NYC, CO, or CA, the OTE salary range for this role is $450,000-500,000 per year. You will also be entitled to receive stock options and benefits. Individual pay decisions are based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, and skillset.
Maven embraces a flexible hybrid work model. This role is open to candidates based in the New York Metropolitan area, or remote from within the US. For those in our New York City office, we encourage in-person collaboration by requiring team members to work onsite three days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday). This policy aims to balance remote work flexibility with the benefits of face-to-face interaction.
This role requires active work authorization in the US.
