Maven is actively seeking a Sales Development Manager to aggressively expand our pipeline and drive sales. This role demands a high-impact individual to join our industry-leading team, dedicated to accelerating Maven's mission of transforming women's and family healthcare. Working directly with the Director of Sales Development, the Sales Development Manager will spearhead strategies with Growth Team leadership to maximize efficiency, conquer new markets, and rapidly increase pipeline velocity.

As a Sales Development Manager at Maven, you will:

  • Lead a team of SDRs that are relentlessly pursuing and executing strategies to crush pipeline development goals across US and International employers and labor organizations.
  • Forge a high-performance culture within the sales development rep team, leveraging data and analytics to aggressively identify and implement process improvements, driving unparalleled efficiency and productivity, and assessing team member performance.
  • Monitor and dissect key performance metrics, delivering unvarnished reports to senior management and initiating immediate, decisive corrective actions as required.
  • Empower SDRs to aggressively identify leads, generate targeted prospect lists, and dismantle objections to explode new business pipeline.
  • Engage in relentless collaboration with the Growth Marketing team to co-develop strategies that flood the pipeline with qualified leads, while deploying campaigns and tactics to ensure a brutal conversion rate with our sales team.
  • Deliver precise reporting and ironclad forecasting to the Growth Leadership team using Salesforce and other data sources.
  • Provide mentorship, guidance, and support to hone the skills and careers of your team members, driving their success to unprecedented levels.

We’re looking for you to bring: 

  • A successful background as an IC and manager in exceeding pipeline quotas, both individually and with their team
  • Strategic thinking, with excellent coaching skills and a proven track record of driving team success
  • Management and coaching abilities with a passion for developing talent and driving team success
  • A Willingness to listen to call recordings, review top-of-funnel metrics, and host coaching sessions.
  • Collaborative mindset and able to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Salesforce expertise
  • Great communication skills, both written and verbal.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong preference for someone who has progressed from an BDR/SDR role to an AE role with a high degree of quota attainment.

This role is only open to candidates in the NYC-metropolitan area and will require you to be in-office for 3 days each week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday). While flexibility will always be core to Maven’s policies, we also believe in the power of in-person connection. Our hybrid work policy was created with both principles in mind. 

The base salary range for this role is $106,000 - $144,000 per year. You will also be entitled to receive stock options and benefits. Individual pay decisions are based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, and skillset.

This role requires active work authorization in the US
