We are a collaborative mid-sized agency with an immediate opportunity for a Digital Community Associate to join our growing team. 

 

DIGITAL COMMUNITY ASSOCIATE

This is an excellent opportunity for a junior-level professional who wants to flex their skill sets of multifaceted marketing on the earned PR and digital/social fronts.  

You’ll be part of a fun-loving team that encourages critical thinking as much as creativity (aka the best of both worlds!). We’re looking for someone who has 2-4 years of experience managing social platforms on behalf of brands - bonus if you have influencer marketing experience, too - who will bring energy, excitement and passion to the position.

The Community Manager is the eyes and ears of a successful team, helping to ensure the success of our communications campaigns and the overall health of our client brand. You’ll be at the forefront of our clients’ social media communities reporting insights and learnings back to the team. In assisting with the execution of integrated campaigns, the Community Manager begins learning digital strategy, social media + influencer marketing, and breakthrough earned media campaigns.

What You’ll Do: 

Community Management

  • Responsible for concurrent monitoring and response across both TikTok and Instagram for three brands during the week, including quick checks on weekends (please note: this position is overtime eligible!)
  • Respond to comments in accordance with Social Playbook 
  • Spot, recommend, execute opportunities to engage outside of brands’ owned channels
  • Monitor digital trends and shares with internal team and identifies places for each of three client brands to show-up and engage
  • Learn vendor software and social media listening/measurement tools (i.e. Sprinklr, Brandwatch, TalkWalker, etc.)
    • Publish content to two social channels
    • Monitor social media conversations
    • Analyze content performance and reports back to team
  • Assist with compiling social media content calendars
  • Work with designers and project managers to create social content
  • Brainstorm digital activations and social media content ideas
  • Participate in client events with a focus on social amplification
  • Assist in the production of new business materials
  • Be client-facing, sharing updates on platforms during calls and via emails

Account Coordination

Specific to Digital Community Management only (we’ll have another teammate handle the below for other workstreams):

  • Flex across multiple client brands
  • Set call agendas and share comprehensive recaps
  • Organize client folders and databases
  • Coordinate team/client meeting details (check in, meals, etc.)
  • Become familiar with agency technology, Slack, Monday.com, Midjourney, etc.

Monitoring & Measurement 

  • Provide ongoing monitoring for client and competitor coverage
  • Summarize insights from monitoring that could optimize platforms
  • Own ongoing client reports (e.g., weekly, monthly, quarterly, yearly, etc.) and trackers, keeping them updated and accurate
  • Support programmatic reports (e.g., campaign recap etc.)

What you’ll bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • 2-4 years of experience (internships included)
  • Strong writing and verbal communication skills

Location: NYC

Our Flexible Work Policy: 

We believe that our best work happens in a hybrid working environment. If you are in the NYC (or commutable surrounding distance) hub we want to see you in person 2 days a week. That could mean in our office, in our client's office, on the road with them or attending an industry event. 

For those outside the NYC hub, you will be asked to be in person too. Examples of this may include client meetings, events or team meetings. There will also be in person opportunities for you to connect with others who live in your hub to collaborate and work together.
