
2026 - Curriculum Engineering Intern
Are you passionate about technology, and the future of learning? We’re looking for curious, motivated interns who are excited to explore the intersection of software development and education. In this role, you’ll contribute to building educational content and cutting-edge internal tools that help developers around the world learn MongoDB.
What we are looking for in you
- In the process of receiving a Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Business Analytics or related field
- Are interested in databases, backend development, or developer tooling (MongoDB/NoSQL familiarity is a plus, but not required)
- Are comfortable writing basic code in at least one language (like Python, JavaScript, or Java)
- Are curious about cloud computing (AWS, Azure, GCP), and how real-world applications are built
- Are passionate about learning and making education better through technology
- Want to explore how AI can support curriculum development, especially agentic workflows and intelligent authoring tools
- Have a minimum of one quarter/semester remaining in university studies after the internship concludes. Graduation date in Fall 2026, Spring 2027 or Summer 2027
- Must be authorized to work in Ireland and provide the Company with copies of all relevant documents, if requested. Company sponsorship may be available for eligible candidates applying for certain roles.
What You’ll Do
- Assist in designing and building internal agentic tools that support curriculum creation using modern AI workflows
- Review technical tutorials, code snippets, and workshop materials to ensure clarity and accuracy
- Participate in team brainstorming, content planning, and feedback sessions Support experimentation and prototyping efforts to improve how we teach MongoDB and related technologies

MongoDB internships are full-time (40 hours/week) for 10 consecutive weeks lasting from dates in June until August. All interns are considered hybrid employees, designated the "in office" working model and are expected to be in their office location 3-5 days a week.
