Our Project Manager reports directly to the Manager of the PMO & Portfolio Governance within the Professional Services division and supports our Provider and Payer implementations. The candidate will oversee and manage a project or portfolio of projects. Primary responsibility includes managing and implementing projects assigned (scope, cost, schedule, resources, and deliverables.) Ability to prepare and present status reports for the various Leadership and Management teams. Ensure excellence in the execution and the delivery of the projects and programs by partnering with the varying levels of employees across MedeAnalytics.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Project Management:
    • Be involved in the acceptance, execution, and delivery of all projects, programs, and the Prog management
    • Meet regularly with the teams to obtain feedback, provide recommendations, communicate adjustments/changes, and ensure continued alignment with the client business and technology teams
    • Identify, prioritize, and remediate any risks associated directly or indirectly with the assigned projects
    • Utilize the established tools to keep project on track and simplify the process of sharing the updates with the internal and client organizations
    • Leverage internal tools to view and track requests for the team
    • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
    • Ensure resource availability and allocation
    • Develop a detailed project plan to track progress
    • Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs
    • Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques
    • Report and escalate issues with a solution on hand by following the proper chain of escalation
    • Manage the relationship with our internal & client stakeholders
    • Perform risk management to minimize project risks
    • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
    • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
  • Portfolio Governance Management:
    • Assist in the review and feedback on all charters prior to submission
    • Provide feedback based on assessment of risks, return and capacity
    • Set and manage all requests related to the PG Board and/or meetings
    • Eliminate projects no longer deemed in alignment with the MedeAnalytics goals and strategies
    • Work side by side with the varying team members and stakeholders to align the execution with the business strategy

Essential Education, Experience, and Interests:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferably in HealthCare, Information Technology, or Business Management; or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years project managing experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Healthcare IT experience required - either Payer or Provider
  • Knowledge or experience in software development and the industry standards
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (social and emotional intelligence)
  • Two-way communication and feedback loop (negotiate, persuade, influence)
  • Managing and setting expectations across all levels
  • Champion of change (lead, motivate, inspire, transform)
  • Self-driven with little to no supervision

Additional Information:

MedeAnalytics believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is $100,000 - $130,000 USD. Please note that actual compensations for all roles may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, relevant work experience, professional achievements/qualifications, skill level, business need, location and will be finalized at the time of offer.
