Senior Product Manager, Sync

Tel Aviv

As the Product Manager of Melio’s Sync Platform, you’ll own one of Melio’s most strategic product capabilities: the real-time data synchronization between Melio and accounting software like QuickBooks, Xero, and beyond. You’ll work closely with engineers to solve complex data synchronization and UX challenges, launch critical features across the company, and help tens of thousands of small businesses across the US to streamline their financial workflows.

Qualifications:

  • A proven track record of 4+ years as a Product Manager with at least 2 years focused on technical products or platforms (integrations, APIs, backend systems, or infrastructure)
  • You understand APIs, data sync mechanisms, error handling, and can confidently work with engineering on architecture and scale.
  • You are an outstanding communicator who can break down technical tradeoffs for execs, translate business needs for engineers, and effectively collaborate with internal teams across multiple disciplines—marketing, sales, ops, finance, etc.
  • You think deeply about user needs and workflows and know how to translate that into better product decisions. 
  • You are a self-starter with a bias for action and a high sense of accountability. You can execute complex projects under time and resource constraints and competing priorities. You are calm under pressure, know how to triage issues and never lose sight of the customer.
  • You’re fluent in English with excellent speaking and writing skills.

Bonus points:

  • Experience working on data sync, accounting integrations, or similar backend systems
  • Experience PMing products that are both technical and customer-facing
  • Background as a Software Engineer
  • BS in computer science, engineering or equivalent experience
  • Familiarity with accounting software like QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite

A day in the life and how you’ll make an impact:

  • Deeply understand user needs, market trends, and competitive landscapes to identify opportunities and drive product innovation
  • Define the business and technical requirements for products and features. Write clear and concise product specs, and other product documentation
  • Define and monitor KPIs to assess product performance, measure success, and prioritize features for maximum impact
  • Build, maintain, and keep the integrity of a complex data sync platform
  • Develop and execute the product roadmap aligned with the company’s goals to address market needs and drive innovation.
  • Collaborate with other product teams, Marketing, Sales, and Ops to build, deploy, and scale delightful features

About the hiring department: 

The Product department helps set the product vision and strategy.
We work alongside a diverse team of engineers, designers and data scientists to envision, build, deliver and scale Melio’s product to the right market. 

We are user experts and constantly analyze their current and future needs. We define the product roadmap, including features and requirements, and then articulate the business rationale behind it. 

The team is responsible for providing the ‘what’ and working with the engineering team to build a successful product.
