What You'll Do as a Sr. Studio Artist
You will assist with guiding the work of other Studio Artists. You can handle the traditional role of cleaning up digital or print files and prepping them for release, but you are so much more than that. If you have an eye for design and like to fix things, solve problems, and work with your hands, then this is the role for you!
Your Responsibilities
- Assist Art Directors by making edits received during production phases
- Juggle and prioritize multiple assignments for multiple clients throughout the day
- Communicate effectively and take direction from team members
- Master of all design programs & software
- Work quickly, efficiently, and accurately
- Work across all levels of the company in a positive and proactive manner
- Be able to take rough templates created by Art Directors and flesh them out to complete a piece
- Work directly & collaborate closely with art directors, designers, and developers
- Prepare images for online and mobile applications
- Catalog and reference art for future projects
- Troubleshoot problems as they arise with the workflow manager, the creative, and the producer teams
- Prepare final press-ready files based on supplied specifications for several types of printing
- Make various formats of supplied artwork production-ready and resolve any artwork issues that arise during production
- Provide image retouching, clipping paths, and additional image manipulation
- Package and preflight files for release to printers or media partners
- Create PDFs for print and client review
Qualifications
- 7-8 years of studio/production experience, preferably in an advertising agency and/or marketing services department
- Bachelor's degree preferred, or Associate degree/trade school, and/or equivalent work experience
- Follow-through ability — taking a project from initial planning through production phases on time and on budget
- Demonstrated expertise in core Adobe applications, including InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator
- Experience with supporting Adobe applications such as XD, Premiere, and Dimensions
- Familiarity with HTML
- A robust understanding of digital strategies and tactics is essential
- Excellent interpersonal skills are crucial for effective collaboration and team dynamic
- The ability to communicate clearly and effectively during video conference calls is essential for remote collaboration.

The salary range for this role is $68,000- $82,000, based on the individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
