THE OPPORTUNITY
We are a fast-growing ERP practice with Workday clients and an exciting opportunity for a Workday Financials Practice Lead, with experience within FDM/Record-To-Report. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and are looking to make an impact, this position is perfect. We are looking for someone who has a strong background in ERP implementations, consulting, and can oversee project teams.  The successful candidate for this position must possess public sector knowledge, an understanding of public sector accounting and finance concepts, integration points with major financial systems, and experience optimizing and automating business processes. The ability to effectively interact with client C-Suite executives and oversee the Project Management staff to keep projects delivered on schedule and with the highest level of quality and customer satisfaction. We expect this position to initially be remote, with potential for future travel within the US.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Act as a subject matter advisor and trusted executive partner to clients
  • Lead the delivery and management of client projects, contributing to solutions as needed to establish strong trust-based relationships and drive collective client and team success
  • Support business development/sales efforts, craft and develop solution approaches and proposals, and successfully engage with clients
  • Diagnose complex technical and business problems and work to uncover unknown and unmet client needs
  • Network and develop relationships with new clients and partners
  • Mentor and serve as a role model to junior colleagues by providing career development goals, meeting regularly, writing, and delivering quarterly reviews, advocating for their career advancement, and serving as an example of career roles and levels they can aspire to
  • Actively represent our culture by leading and participating in efforts around continuous learning, personal and professional development, and team building
  • Work collaboratively with members of the management and executive teams

WHAT YOU WILL BRING FOR SUCCESS

  • 3+ years of implementation experience with  Workday
  • 10+ years managing ERP implementations across multiple industries including the implementation of Public Sector ERP financial solutions
  • Must have Workday financials certification. 
  • Demonstrated experience leading and growing an ERP/Business Systems practice (ie company division/group/practice)
  • Experience in requirements definition & gathering (blueprinting), system setup, integration testing, documentation, end-user training, and on-going support
  • Experience with waterfall and/or agile ERP implementation methodologies
  • Able and willing to travel 30 - 40%
