THE OPPORTUNITY
Our client has a unique need for an SAP S4 HANA FICO Senior Consultant.  In this highly visible role, you will lead the implementation and optimization of the SAP Financial Accounting and Managerial Accounting solutions to enhance our client’s business functionality and overall performance.  In addition, you will analyze business requirements, align system capabilities with strategic finance goals, maintain system documentation and support system integrations.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • As an SAP S4 HANA Finance & Controlling Expert, you will align technology with business strategy, working directly with the client gathering requirements to analyze, design and/or implement technology best practice business solutions.
  • Understanding and documenting the functional and technical requirements
  • Process analysis, design/ redesign of Integrated Financial processes as per industry best practice and/or clients business model
  • Build, test and deploy best-practice and innovate customer processes in the area of Finance and Controlling
  • Work with our clients in the implementation of large-scale SAP systems
  • Work within a multi-language, multicultural, multi-discipline environment
  • Lead task and projects to ensure the success of the project is obtained

WHAT YOU BRING FOR SUCCESS

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience as a consultant or in a similar role implementing SAP FICO.
  • 3 + years of hands-on experience implementing S/4HANA projects.
  • Expertise in configuration and implementation of Financial Accounting (FI), Management Accounting (CO), Financial Supply Chain Management (FSCM), Bank Communication Management (BCM), and Treasury and Risk Management (TRM).
  • Expert understanding on integration of the various components within the Financial Accounting (FI) module such as General Ledger (FI-GL), Accounts Receivable (FI-AR), Accounts Payable (FI-AP), New Asset Accounting (FI-AA New), Financial Supply Chain Management (FSCM), Bank Communication Management (BCM), and Treasury Management (TRM), as well as their integration with other SAP Modules.
  • Deep understanding on the integration of the components within the Management Accounting (CO) module such as Profit Center Accounting (PCA), Cost Center Accounting (CCA), Order Related Accounting (OPA), Account Based Profitability Analysis (ABCOPA), Project Systems (PS), Product Costing, and Material Ledger, as well as their integration with other SAP Modules.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project goals.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering practical and effective solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and implement innovative solutions.
  • Public Sector Experience: State, Local, and or K12 preferred
  • Certification in SAP S/4HANA Financial Accounting and Treasury is desired
