Compensation: $65,000 - $75,000 plus bonus

THE OPPORTUNITY
Meridian Partners is seeking a Workday Time Tracking/Absence/Scheduling Jr. Consultant to support ongoing growth in our public sector practice. This role is ideal for early-career professionals with Workday configuration or support experience looking to specialize in Time Tracking, Absence, and Scheduling modules. You will contribute to client-facing projects and assist senior consultants in implementing and supporting Workday Time-related solutions.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Assist in the implementation and configuration of Workday Time Tracking, Absence, and Scheduling modules for state, local, K-12, and other public sector clients.
- Support requirements gathering and documentation of public sector-specific time tracking policies (e.g., union rules, civil service hours, holiday accruals).
- Help build and test time tracking, absence management, and scheduling business processes and reporting dashboards.
- Assist with data mapping, validation, and conversion activities from legacy timekeeping or HR systems.
- Support the deployment of scheduling solutions that align with workforce planning and compliance needs in the public sector.
- Collaborate with senior consultants and project managers to ensure client satisfaction and deliverables are met.
- Troubleshoot system configuration issues and provide post-deployment support.
- Participate in knowledge transfer and documentation efforts to enhance internal capabilities.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING FOR SUCCESS
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of experience supporting or implementing Workday or other enterprise HR/timekeeping systems.
- Exposure to Workday Time Tracking, Absence, or Scheduling through configuration, support, or academic training.
- Passion for public sector consulting and a desire to grow within the Workday ecosystem.
- Strong problem-solving, organization, and communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a remote consulting environment.
- Understanding of public sector time policies, labor rules, or scheduling practices is a plus.
- Workday certifications in Time Tracking or Absence (or willingness to obtain) strongly preferred.
- Ability to travel up to 30% for client-facing activities.
