Overview

As the Corporate Development & Strategy Manager at Mesh, you will drive strategic growth initiatives that expand our ecosystem and strengthen our position as the premier global crypto payments network. You'll identify and evaluate partnership and investment opportunities that align with our vision while developing strategic frameworks to guide the company's long-term direction. This role combines market intelligence, research expertise, and strategic thinking to accelerate Mesh's expansion and industry leadership. You will work directly with the executive management team to support critical initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead the identification, evaluation, and execution of strategic partnerships and ecosystem opportunities in the crypto and payments space
• Build and maintain a robust market intelligence database to track key companies, investors, partnerships, and competitive developments across the crypto ecosystem
• Conduct deep research into emerging blockchain technologies, crypto payment protocols, and market trends to inform strategic decision-making
• Develop proof-of-concept projects to evaluate potential technical partnerships and integration opportunities
• Create and analyze quantitative metrics to evaluate market opportunities, competitive positioning, and strategic initiatives
• Work autonomously to manage multiple strategic projects simultaneously, from conception to execution
• Effectively communicate complex market insights and strategic recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders including executive management
• Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to ensure strategic initiatives align with technical capabilities and roadmaps
• Represent Mesh in external industry events, building relationships with potential and existing partners and industry leaders

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in strategic business development, strategy, or consulting, with exposure to fintech, crypto, or payments
• Demonstrated expertise in blockchain technology, crypto business models, and decentralized finance ecosystems
• Strong research skills with experience evaluating technical protocols, analyzing market trends, and producing actionable insights
• Experience developing technical prototypes or proof-of-concepts to validate strategic opportunities
• Proven ability to work autonomously, prioritize effectively, and drive initiatives with minimal supervision
• Excellent communication skills with experience translating between business and technical domains
• Strong relationship-building abilities with experience engaging external stakeholders across various industries
• Experience collaborating with product and engineering teams to align business strategy with technical execution
• Strong quantitative analysis skills with experience using data to drive strategic decision-making; comfort with and preference for digging into the numbers
• Proficiency with data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, Tableau, etc.) and ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
