Senior Product Designer

As a Product Designer, you will be responsible for defining and executing the product experience strategy, ensuring seamless alignment between user needs and business goals. You will lead design initiatives, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and craft innovative, user-centric solutions that enhance product usability and engagement.
Your role involves a blend of UX Research, Interaction Design, and Visual Design, driving end-to-end design solutions from concept to execution. By leveraging research, design thinking, and usability principles, you will play a critical role in shaping intuitive, transparent, and effective digital experiences that elevate user satisfaction and business success.
Travel for team and client meetings is required, typically up to 15%.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in large scale design projects, ensuring high-quality execution aligned with product strategy and user needs.
- Develop and deliver meaningful, user-centered design solutions, supported by comprehensive documentation for clear stakeholder communication.
- Ensure design consistency by adhering to brand standards, usability best practices, and accessibility guidelines (WCAG).
- Leverage research and usability testing to optimize product performance and enhance user experiences.
- Work independently with minimal supervision, conducting peer reviews to maintain design quality.
- Create and maintain a scalable Design System, supporting usability improvements and A/B testing with support of the leadership team.
- Create user flows, wireframes, and prototypes that align with business goals and user needs to refine and enhance the user experience.
- Iterate on designs based on feedback, demonstrating proficiency in Figma, Adobe CC, Sketch, and prototyping tools.
- Participate in research and brainstorming sessions to address problem statements, collaborate with the leadership team and create proof-of-concepts (POCs) with development support.
- Engage in design discussions, project reviews, and team activities, fostering a collaborative design culture.
- Support recruitment efforts by evaluating resumes and conducting L1 interviews for design candidates.
- Contribute to pre-sales engagements, assisting in content development to expand business opportunities and showcase design capabilities.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in product design, UX, or interaction design within complex, cross-functional environments.
- Proven expertise in designing B2B, B2C, and SaaS products, particularly those addressing complex enterprise problems.
- Degree in B.Des, M.Des, MFA, or an equivalent qualification in design or related fields.
- A strong online portfolio demonstrating your design process, UX/Product artifacts, and design thinking approach.
- In-depth knowledge of design principles, usability, and UX strategies.
- Exceptional communication skills (both written and verbal), with the ability to present and defend design decisions clearly and effectively.
Location
- Commuting distance from Bengaluru, remote first working with occasional need to be in our Bengaluru office.
- Infrequent, but required travel possible
