Registered Nurse - Women's Health

Midi Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our fast-paced startup. 

Responsibilities

• EHR inbox management 
• Clinical Triage
• Create and implement clinical practice guidelines in support of RN practice
• Address patient questions about how to administer medication, common questions that can be answered by Midi protocols, and general education questions
• Address clinical concern patient questions which requires assessment to determine if question can be answered based on protocols or if a visit should be scheduled
• Review labs and imaging results and determine if abnormal findings require coverage provider to review before the ordering provider is back in the office.
• Review documents from external care partners to determine appropriate action (i.e. attach additional chart notes to a referral, call pharmacy to follow up on script, etc.) 
• Escalate inbox cases to a nurse or MD/NP visit when applicable
• Documentation of all patient cases in the EHR 
• Maintain currency of knowledge of all Midi/IWC clinical protocols particularly as they relate to the RN role
• Create a culture of quality patient care by addressing patient cases and concerns in a timely manner
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Education 

• Licensed Registered Nurse in good standing
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing
• 50 state licensure (highly preferred)

Experience  

• Required: Minimum 5 years’ experience with emphasis on triage nursing, telemedicine experience
• Required: Minimum 5 years’ experience in Women’s Health specialty care, with focus on care for women in midlife (examples: Gynecology, primary care, internal medicine)
• Required: Minimum 5 years’ experience managing a high patient volume 
• Preferred: Experience with development of clinical practice guidelines and protocols
• Preferred: ER / Urgent care experience
