Position Overview
Minno is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Social Media Manager (Contractor) to help grow its brand across digital platforms. You’ll play a critical role in delivering compelling, platform-specific content that authentically engages moms and parents, particularly within Christian communities.
As the Social Media Manager, you will develop, schedule, and publish content across Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, TikTok, and other emerging platforms. You’ll work closely with our brand, marketing, and creative teams to align campaigns with Minno’s mission and voice. The right candidate has strong instincts for messaging, trend-savvy content creation, and understands how to balance thoughtfulness and fun in ways that resonate with Christian parents.
This is a flexible, project-based contract role (10–20 hours/week). If you’re passionate about using digital storytelling to support families and faith, we’d love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage platform-specific social media strategies for Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, TikTok, and others.
- Plan and maintain a content calendar aligned with campaigns, launches, and always-on engagement.
- Create or coordinate engaging visual and written content that reflects Minno’s brand, tone, and values.
- Monitor, moderate, and engage with online communities in a respectful and mission-aligned voice.
- Track performance data and optimize strategies based on insights and trends.
- Stay up to date with relevant cultural, parenting, and social media trends.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with content, brand, and marketing teams.
Qualifications:
Experience:
- 3+ years managing social media accounts for consumer brands; freelance or consulting experience welcome.
- Demonstrated ability to reach and engage moms and Christian parents across platforms.
- Experience working with children’s media or parenting-focused brands is a plus
Skills:
- Strong writing, copyediting, and visual storytelling skills.
- Familiarity with social scheduling and analytics tools (e.g., Meta Suite, Later, Hootsuite).
- Competent in Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and results-driven.
- Comfortable collaborating remotely across teams.
- Able to reflect Christian values in messaging with respect across denominations.
- Self-starter with excellent communication and project management skills.
- Passionate about Minno’s mission to help families experience Jesus every day—on and off screens.
