MINT MOBILE is seeking a talented Senior Manager, Google Ads to join the Marketing Team! Individual reports to Director, Media & Acquisition. Role is remote - must reside in the United States.

Ideal Candidate Must have: Leadership experience with managing a team directly.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As the Senior Manager, Google Ads for our Mint Mobile brand, you will manage and grow our Google channels to attract new Mint subscribers. You will help lead the day-to-day strategy and execution of our Google and Microsoft Ads campaigns, focusing on Search, Shopping, Display, and Native campaigns — with the opportunity to expand to other platforms. You will be responsible for continuously optimizing, tracking, and reporting campaigns' success while driving innovation through testing new strategies. You will play a pivotal role in the success of our media team and will help shape our acquisition strategies.

Your usual day of awesomeness includes:  

  • Working closely with the Director, operating as their right-hand person, and managing the team to bring the Director's strategic vision to life.
  • Managing and mentoring internal media buyers - guiding strategy, delegating tasks, QAing, and coaching as needed.
  • Directly managing Search & Shopping campaigns across Google & Microsoft.
  • Working closely with the team to manage and optimize Display and Native campaigns across Google and Microsoft.
  • Tracking performance and optimizing campaigns to achieve sales and efficiency goals using last-touch and custom attribution models.
  • Managing channel and campaign budgets, making recommendations on strategies to maximize performance.
  • Brainstorming, identifying, scoping, and prioritizing new test initiatives.
  • Designing and executing audience, targeting, landing page, and creative tests; reporting and evaluating results to drive future recommendations.
  • Collaborating with our in-house marketing analytics team to deep dive into performance and understand channel interactions.
  • Monitoring and reporting on daily campaign performance, conducting analyses, and investigating performance changes.
  • Conducting inventory audits and establishing bidding strategies to improve campaign performance and reach new groups of customers.

People Management & Leadership

  • Motivate & encourage employees at all levels, creating an environment where team members understand the vision and strategy.
  • Provide quarterly feedback to direct reports and career development opportunities.
  • Set team and individual goals quarterly - ensure alignment with overall strategic objectives.
  • Create measurable metrics for employees; both on sales results and operational efficiency
  • Mentor and empower employees by allowing them to perform their duties, and make mistakes, which can then be used as teaching opportunities. 

WHAT YOU BRING

  • 4+ years of experience managing multi-million dollar Google Ads campaigns, particularly in Search and Shopping (at a media agency a plus).
  • Minimum education requirement: Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to lead, manage, and mentor members of a top-performing Media & Acquisition team.
  • Experience managing Display and Native campaigns, YouTube/Video a plus.
  • Hands-On-Keys / Technical experience creating, deploying, and optimizing media campaigns.
  • Mastery of digital buying platforms (Google Ads & Microsoft Ads).
  • Experience with Amazon Sponsored Ads, DV360, or The Trade Desk a plus.
  • Advanced skills in Google Analytics (GA4 a plus).
  • Experience leading and training media buyers.
  • Excellent analytical and critical-thinking skills, with strong attention to detail.
  • Enthusiasm for translating data into actionable insights.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to juggle multiple projects and tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Advanced computer skills, particularly Microsoft Excel.
  • Desire to join a small, growing team.
