About the Mixpanel Marketing Team
As part of Mixpanel’s Marketing organization, the Revenue Marketing team drives pipeline growth by generating, capturing, and accelerating demand across digital channels worldwide. We partner closely with the Regional Marketing Teams, PMM, and Web to bring Mixpanel’s story to life and convert audience engagement into measurable business impact.
About the Role
Mixpanel’s Revenue Marketing team is seeking a Performance Marketing Manager to oversee our global paid media and nurture strategy, building a predictable, data-driven engine for pipeline generation.
You’ll lead our paid media program (with agency support), develop and manage inbound nurture campaigns, and continually optimize the journey from Handraiser → MQL → Stage 1 Opportunity (S1).
The ideal candidate has experience in B2B SaaS and product-led growth (PLG) environments, enjoys blending data with creativity, and thrives in driving measurable results across acquisition and conversion.
Responsibilities
Paid Media & Performance
- Collaborating with the Regional Marketing Leaders, manage Mixpanel’s global paid media spend across Google, LinkedIn, Meta, and emerging channels.
- Manage our paid media agency to scale performance efficiently and drive qualified inbound demand with a focus on cost per opportunity
- Optimize campaigns and landing pages for conversion, continuously testing new creative, messaging, and audience strategies.
Nurture & Conversion
- Develop and run inbound nurture email & retargeting programs that engage, educate, and convert handraisers into MQLs and S1 opportunities.
- Partner with Marketing Ops, AI SDR, and SDR teams to align nurture journeys, scoring, and handoffs for optimal conversion performance.
- Improve Handraiser → MQL → S1 CVR as a key performance metric.
Analytics & Optimization
- Collaborate with the marketing analytics team to define performance metrics, dashboards, and insights that inform budget allocation and campaign optimization.
- Run A/B and multivariate tests across paid and email channels to improve funnel performance and engagement.
- Report on spend, ROI, conversion rates, and pipeline impact to key stakeholders.
Collaboration & Enablement
- Work cross-functionally with regional marketing leads, content, and web teams to localize messaging and ensure global campaign alignment.
We're Looking For Someone Who Has
- 5+ years B2B Digital marketing experience, including hands-on paid media and email campaign execution.
- Experience managing contractors and agencies to deliver against performance goals.
- Proven success in building and optimizing nurture programs that convert inbound leads into a pipeline.
- Deep understanding of paid media platforms (Google Ads, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Meta, etc.).
- Familiarity with marketing automation, CRM and BI, and CMS / Design tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, Looker, Framer etc.).
- Data-driven mindset with strong analytical and reporting skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, global environment.
Bonus Points For
- Experience in hybrid PLG/enterprise GTM models.
- Familiarity with experimentation frameworks and CRO.
- Passion for using AI tools to optimize media buying or email personalization.

Compensation
The amount listed below is the total target cash compensation (TTCC) and includes base compensation and variable compensation in the form of either a company bonus or commissions. Variable compensation type is determined by your role and level. In addition to the cash compensation provided, this position is also eligible for equity consideration and other benefits including medical, vision, and dental insurance coverage. Our salary ranges are determined by role and level and are benchmarked to the SF Bay Area Technology data cut released by Radford, a global compensation database. The range displayed represents the minimum and maximum TTCC for new hire salaries for the position across all of our US locations. To stay on top of market conditions, we refresh our salary ranges twice a year so these ranges may change in the future. Within the range, individual pay is determined by experience, job-related skills, qualifications, and other factors. $134,500 - $164,500 USD
