Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced IT Systems Administrator to oversee our organization's entire device ecosystem. This role will be responsible for implementing and managing our Mobile Device Management (MDM) solution, handling all aspects of device procurement, and coordinating the setup and maintenance of hardware across all office locations.
Key Responsibilities
Mobile Device Management (MDM)
- Research, implement, and maintain an enterprise MDM solution
- Create and enforce device policies, security protocols, and compliance measures
- Manage device enrollment, configuration, and deprovisioning processes
- Monitor device health, security, and usage metrics
- Troubleshoot MDM-related issues and provide solutions
Device Procurement
- Develop and manage relationships with hardware vendors and service providers
- Research and recommend cost-effective device solutions that meet business needs
- Create and maintain procurement processes for all company devices
- Negotiate pricing and manage purchase orders for all IT hardware
- Track inventory and maintain accurate records of all company devices
- Manage device lifecycle, including refresh cycles and proper disposal
Hardware Setup & Maintenance
- Configure and deploy new laptops, desktops, mobile devices, and peripherals
- Set up and maintain office hardware including printers, conference room equipment, networking gear, and A/V systems
- Create and document standardized setup procedures for different device types and user roles
- Provide technical support for hardware-related issues
- Maintain hardware inventory and tracking system
Additional Responsibilities
- Manage software licensing and deployment across company devices
- Create and maintain documentation for all IT systems and processes
- Collaborate with IT security team to ensure device compliance with security policies
- Provide basic user training on hardware and software
- Establish and maintain disaster recovery procedures for company devices
- Support remote workers with their device needs
- Manage IT equipment budget and forecast future needs
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in IT support or systems administration
- Experience implementing and managing MDM solutions (such as Jamf, Intune, AirWatch, or MobileIron)
- Strong knowledge of various operating systems (Windows, macOS, iOS, Android)
- Understanding of IT security best practices
- Experience with inventory management systems
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical staff
- Experience with IT procurement processes
- Knowledge of networking basics

- Pay starts at $90,000 - $110,000 annually commensurate with experience
