Talent Acquisition Specialist

Essential Functions:
Provide guidance and support throughout the recruitment process including:
Identifying job requirements and applicant qualifications
Creating and updating job descriptions
Posting job vacancies
Pre-screening resumes
Scheduling and conducting virtual and in person interviews
Checking references and background checks and verifying educational degrees
Extending job offers
Coordinating new hire orientation for prospective employees
Making updated recommendations to interview guides and pre-screen questionnaires as the interview process changes
Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified candidates for multiple corporate and retail positions
Review resumes, conduct pre-interview screens and conduct virtual and onsite interviews to make recommendations to hiring managers
Coordinate onsite and virtual interviews with candidates and hiring managers
Send offer letters to prospective employees and coordinate on-boarding
Maintain and update Greenhouse, our applicant tracking system
Act as an internal consultant to hiring managers by providing guidance throughout the recruiting process
Provide a positive candidate experience throughout the recruiting process
Generate and analyze hiring reports for company leadership
Assist in miscellaneous recruiting projects
Other duties as assigned
Working Conditions:
Job duties will primarily include work indoors during all seasons
Employees may be exposed to difficult or stressful vendor and/or customer situations requiring patience and professionalism to effectively handle
Work duties may require sedentary activities, active standing, stooping and/or kneeling
Minimum Requirements:
Must be able to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds
Must be able to sit and/or stand at workstation for up to eight hours per day
Must be able to proficiently operate computers, tablets and other productivity machinery and technology
Must be able to reliably arrive at work on time for scheduled shifts
Must be able to type at least 40 words per minute
Must be able to move about the corporate offices, as needed, to perform required functions
Must be able to remain in a designated work area for up to eight hours per day with the exception of breaks as required by law
Must be able to effectively communicate information and ideas so customers, vendors and coworkers will understand. Must be able to convey and exchange accurate information in these situations.
Must be able to continue to assist vendors and coworkers during and after stressful situations
Must be able to accurately observe details at close range in order to recognize, identify, detect, determine and assess objects
Must be able to effectively communicate information displayed on digital screens

Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Previous recruiting experience is strongly preferred; although, we are open to experience from other industries as long as it's applicable to this role
Minimum of 21 years of age
Must have a GED or high school diploma
Must commit to coming to work sober. We love cannabis but we do not get high on the job.
Excellent communication and organizational aptitude
Ability to pass a pre-employment background check

Executive Assistant
About the Role:
We’re a fast-growing, multi-state cannabis company operating since 2014 on track to open 50 new locations across Minnesota and Florida over the next two years. You will work closely with the CEO, COO, General Counsel & Executive Chairman to provide high-level administrative support, managing regulatory compliance and lots of projects. You’ll coordinate with Publicists, Lobbyists, Advisors and support overall company operations. You are skilled at coordinating multiple people, projects and tasks to keep operations running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
Executive Support & Communication
Manage calendars and email for four C-suite leaders: triage requests, set priorities, and ensure timely replies.
Be available for urgent needs; handle all information with confidentiality and discretion.
Licensing & Compliance Project Management
Lead weekly meetings of potential franchisees with General Counsel to review progress, identify obstacles, and plan next steps to open new retail locations.
Keep master project plans up to date, follow up on action items, and escalate issues when needed.
Real Estate Coordination
Work with brokers, zoning consultants, and general contractors to evaluate and advance site deals in MN and FL by tracking site-selection pipelines, term sheets, due-diligence tasks, and municipal approvals.
PR & Government Affairs Liaison
Schedule and manage calls with our publicists and state lobbyists; monitor progress on legislative priorities.
Talent Acquisition Support
Arrange interviews, conduct reference checks, and assist with employee onboarding.
Team & Household Management
Supervise the CEO's Personal Assistant's tasks.
Support household and family-member needs as required.
Qualifications:
5+ years in executive assistance and project management withing a fast-paced or regulated industry
Expert in G Suite and Outlook/Exchange; comfortable with project management tools like Asana, Monday.com, or similar
Strong at coordinating many stakeholders and tasks under tight deadlines
Calm under pressure with excellent judgment on priorities
A positive and can-do attitude at all times
Discreet, professional, and aligned with pro-business values & ACT 20/22/60 business incentives
This position is On-Site in Minnesota with up to 25% travel (possibly international travel)
Able to work CST business hours, with flexibility for EST/PR needs
Must commit to coming to work sober.

Controller
General Description:
Join a rapidly growing cannabis retail company as our Controller, where you’ll lead financial operations across multiple states and business units. This is a strategic, high-impact role focused on GAAP-compliant reporting, audit management, internal controls, and debt oversight. If you’re an experienced financial leader who thrives in fast-paced, regulated industries—this is your opportunity to drive real change.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare accurate, GAAP-compliant consolidated financial statements across all entities
Lead and manage internal and external audit processes
Maintain and enhance internal controls across GL, A/P, A/R, payroll, and cost accounting
Monitor cash flow and debt, ensure covenant compliance, and support financing strategies
Support budgeting, forecasting, and liquidity modeling
Partner with department leads to deliver financial insights and ensure retail-level accuracy
Provide documentation and memos on complex accounting treatments and procedures
Occasionally travel to retail sites for audit and compliance support
Job Requirements:
CPA license required
Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance (Master’s preferred)
7+ years in accounting/finance, with 3+ years in leadership roles
Experience managing audits and preparing consolidated financials for multi-entity, multi-state businesses
Strong command of GAAP and accounting systems (SAGE, NetSuite, SAP, QuickBooks)
Proven success managing corporate debt and lender relationships
Exceptional analytical, leadership, and communication skills
Cannabis industry experience a plus, but not required
A high level of integrity, personal motivation, adaptability, and sense of urgency
Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and managing sensitive information
Ability to commit to working in office 100% of the time
Successfully pass a pre-employment criminal background check

Pay starts at $125,000 - $175,000 annually commensurate with experience
