The Impact You’ll Be Contributing to Moloco:
The Compliance Analyst within the Enterprise Compliance Office (ECO) supports the build-out and day-to-day operation of Moloco’s global compliance program by turning regulatory, policy, and governance requirements into clear documentation, structured workflows, evidence, reporting, and metrics. This is a hands-on analyst role with program execution responsibilities for defined ECO initiatives, helping make compliance scalable, auditable, and easier for business teams to execute.
This role reports to the Enterprise Compliance Officer and partners cross-functionally across Legal, Security/GRC, Product, Engineering, People, Finance, business teams, Internal Audit, and Compliance Champions. You’ll gather inputs, validate information, track issues and commitments to closure, and surface risks or delays early while developing expertise at the intersection of compliance, operations, and data-driven execution.
This role is based near our Menlo Park, CA office and follows a hybrid in-office schedule.
The Opportunity:
- Support the build and day-to-day operation of the ECO by translating regulatory, policy, and governance requirements into clear artifacts, trackers, and repeatable processes.
- Produce, maintain, and quality-check audit-ready compliance documentation and evidence, ensuring outputs are complete, accurate, version controlled, and easy to retrieve for governance, audit, and executive review.
- Analyze compliance data, documentation, evidence, and workflows to identify potential gaps, inconsistencies, trends, and opportunities to improve quality, efficiency, and operational rigor.
- Independently investigate issues and open questions, ask thoughtful follow-ups, and propose practical, tactical solutions to close potential documentation, control, or process gaps within defined requirements.
- Track analysis-related issues, remediation items, and commitments through to closure, including owners, priority or severity, timelines, dependencies, decisions, and supporting documentation.
- Support program governance for defined initiatives by preparing meeting materials, status updates, metrics, dashboards, RAID logs, decision registers, and other analyst program management artifacts.
- Support standardized intake, triage, and routing of analyst-related compliance requests, and track intake volume, cycle time, handoffs, and rework drivers.
- Partner with Legal, Security/GRC, Product, Engineering, People, Finance, business teams, Internal Audit, and Compliance Champions to gather inputs, validate information, close action items, and escalate risks or delays early.
- Help develop and improve scalable program infrastructure, including playbooks, templates, trackers, repositories, workflows, and documentation standards that reduce rework and friction over time.
- Review outputs from compliance tools, including AI-assisted tools, and flag errors, anomalies, or inconsistencies before they are relied upon.
- Build foundational expertise across privacy, product, and advertising compliance, third-party risk, enterprise-wide policies and governance, training, regulatory tracking, and other compliance domains as the ECO matures.
- Support the implementation and ongoing operation of third-party risk management tools and processes, including third-party risk management platforms, by helping track third-party reviews, merge and maintain counterparty data, develop analytics and reporting, monitor risk indicators, and support follow-through on third-party risk mitigation and remediation activities.
How Do I Know if the Role is Right For Me?
- A bachelor’s degree in business, law, risk, compliance, political science, data/information science, or a related field.
- 6+ years of experience in compliance, legal operations, risk, audit, privacy, security governance, program or project management, or regulatory operations, preferably within a technology, media, or AdTech environment; high-growth or startup experience is a plus.
- Experience supporting compliance, audit readiness, regulatory, or remediation programs, including evidence coordination, documentation review, status tracking, or issue management.
- Strong program execution skills, with the ability to manage multiple parallel initiatives, organize workplans, track owners and dependencies, maintain momentum, and follow issues through to resolution.
- Analytical mindset, with the ability to review data, documentation, evidence, and workflows to identify gaps, inconsistencies, and improvement opportunities.
- Strong documentation and record-keeping skills, with demonstrated attention to detail, accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, well-structured materials for cross-functional teams, senior leaders, and executive review.
- Highly organized, proactive, and self-directed, with a hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves approach and sound judgment on when to escalate.
- Demonstrated curiosity and willingness to learn, with comfort exploring new regulatory areas, frameworks, business models, and compliance domains.
- Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, GRC platforms, AI tools such as Claude, Co-work, or similar platforms, and other program, project, workflow, or knowledge-management systems, with sound fluency in using a broad array of AI tools to support drafting, analysis, summarization, tracking, and workflow efficiency.
- Basic data skills, such as Excel/Sheets, SQL, or BI dashboards, for reporting, metrics, and trend analysis.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, global environment with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
- Bonus: exposure to one or more of product/advertising compliance, privacy, information governance, third-party risk management, AI governance, or compliance training; PMO experience or project/program management certification a plus.
