JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Social Media Manager to lead and grow the social presence of STRONG across multiple channels. You’ll take ownership of strategy, execution, content development, and performance analysis - ensuring brand consistency, engagement, and scalable growth. This is a high-impact, independent role that collaborates closely with the Marketing Director and cross-functional teams.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategy & Planning
- Develop and execute social media strategies that align with business objectives, in collaboration with the Marketing Director and brand partners.
- Own and manage monthly and campaign-specific content calendars across multiple platforms (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube).
- Stay current on trends, tools, and emerging platform features to ensure our content remains relevant and high-performing.
Content Creation & Management
- Ideate, script, capture, and edit compelling short-form video and static content optimized per platform.
- Write on-brand, high-converting captions that reflect STRONG’s bold, high-energy voice.
- Partner with franchisees and studio teams to source authentic local content.
- Manage content approvals, scheduling, and publishing across all channels.
Community Engagement
- Actively monitor and engage with followers across platforms - responding to DMs, comments, tags, and UGC in a timely and engaging manner.
- Amplify brand community by reposting influencer and member content daily.
- Drive brand loyalty through authentic engagement and real-time storytelling.
Event & Launch Activation
- Support new studio openings and activations by coordinating real-time coverage, local content collection, and live posting.
- Collaborate with studio managers on grassroots social efforts and localized campaigns.
Data & Optimization
- Analyze and report on key performance metrics including engagement, growth, reach, and conversion.
- Use insights to refine strategy, inform content, and improve outcomes over time.
Influencer Program Support
- Assist in identifying and vetting influencers for brand partnerships.
- Track influencer deliverables and performance, coordinating closely with our digital agency.
- Organize and maintain documentation of influencer campaigns for reporting.
Brand Awareness & Growth
- Help lead programs like WIN COMP and pre-sale social contests to increase studio-level growth and awareness.
- Collaborate on marketing events and brand partnerships - coordinating logistics, content support, and social amplification.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- 3–5 years of experience managing social media for a fast-paced consumer brand (fitness, wellness, lifestyle strongly preferred).
- Demonstrated ability to lead content creation, grow engagement, and execute campaigns independently.
- Skilled in short-form video editing (Reels, TikTok) and tools like Canva, CapCut, or Adobe Suite.
- Proficient in social scheduling tools (e.g. Sprout, Buffer, Hootsuite) and basic analytics/reporting.
- Excellent copywriting skills with the ability to write in an energetic, bold tone of voice.
- Strong organizational skills, ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities at once.
- Comfortable working independently while collaborating across distributed teams.
- Based in SoCal and able to travel locally for shoots, events, and openings when needed.
TRAVEL
Occasional travel within the Los Angeles and San Diego region may be required for content capture and events.
COMPENSATION – $70,000 annually
