The Job: Manager, Fraud Strategy
The Manager, Fraud Strategy- is a hands-on leader responsible for designing and executing fraud prevention strategies across Momentum Financial Services Group’s consumer lending products. This role is ideal for someone who combines strategic thinking with deep technical execution., operating directly in the data to drive decisions.
How You’ll Make an Impact:
Strategy Development & Implementation
Lead the design, testing, and implementation of fraud prevention and detection strategies across multiple products and channels.
Build, test, and optimize fraud strategies across acquisition and first-party risk
Work directly in large datasets, writing SQL from scratch to identify trends, detect fraud, and generate actionable insights
Independently connect data signals to inform strategy and make risk-based decisions
Partner cross-functionally to implement and refine fraud controls
Manage and optimize existing strategies effectively to address fraud risks including stolen/forged identity and malicious first-party intent.
Analytics & Risk Management
Leverage advanced analytics, fraud solutions, and business acumen to identify emerging fraud trends, mitigate losses, and balance customer experience with risk control.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Collaborate closely with Credit Risk, Product, Ops, and IT to implement, monitor, and refine fraud strategies.
Partner with external fraud prevention vendors, supporting tool evaluation and performance monitoring.
Communication & Stakeholder Engagement
Deliver clear and actionable insights, findings, and recommendations to senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
Leadership & Team Development
Foster continuous improvement and professional growth by sharing expertise, strengthening analytical capabilities, and supporting team development.
What You Bring:
Strong, hands-on SQL expertise—able to build queries from scratch and work independently in raw data (critical)
Proven experience designing and executing fraud strategies in lending, fintech, or e-commerce
Ability to think strategically, connect the dots, and operate with a high degree of ownership
Strong judgment to balance fraud risk, customer experience, and business outcomes
Comfort working closely with data, technology, and cross-functional teams
Must have good business judgment with demonstrated ability to think creatively and strategically.
Proficient in SQL programming skills and experienced with data visualization platforms such as Sigma and Tableau
Skilled in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

Education + Experience
Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field such as Decision Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or Economics.
5+ years of experience in fraud risk management focusing on strategy, implementation and launching fraud prevention and detection solutions for Fintech, Banking, or other e-commerce.
Proven track record in acquisition/origination fraud and credit management space.
Familiarity with 3rd-party Fraud prevention solutions, preferably within the financial services industry.
Experience working at consumer lending companies in the U.S. is a plus.

The Job
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Lifecycle Marketing, you'll execute customer marketing campaigns across email, SMS, push notifications, in-app messaging, and other CRM channels. You'll help bring lifecycle marketing strategies to life by supporting campaign planning, building, launching, and optimizing customer communications. Working cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, Creative, Analytics, and Compliance teams, you'll ensure campaigns are delivered accurately, on time, and aligned with business objectives.
What You'll Do
Execute customer marketing campaigns across email, SMS, push notifications, in-app messaging, and other CRM channels.
Support the development of campaign briefs by defining objectives, target audiences, messaging, offers, timelines, and channel requirements.
Write, edit, and optimize customer-facing marketing copy across multiple CRM channels.
Build, QA, schedule, and deploy campaigns using marketing automation platforms.
Execute both one-time campaigns and automated lifecycle journeys, including onboarding, engagement, retention, reactivation, abandoned application, and cross-sell programs.
Configure audience segmentation, personalization rules, and campaign targeting.
Monitor campaign performance, analyze results, and provide recommendations for optimization.
Support A/B testing initiatives across subject lines, messaging, creative, audiences, offers, and send times.
Coordinate campaign assets, approvals, and execution with cross-functional stakeholders.
Maintain campaign calendars, production schedules, and documentation while ensuring compliance with brand and regulatory standards.

What You’ll Do
The Job: Lead Software Engineer, Backend & Cloud Platform
We’re hiring a Lead Software Engineer, Backend & Cloud Platform, to help own and operate Integration Hub, an AWS-based integration platform supporting Integration with Internal & External systems. You’ll work across backend services (APIs, event-driven processing), data synchronization and file ingestion pipelines, and production operations. A key part of this role is supporting the transition of production support from our current vendor to an internal team, including knowledge transfer, runbooks, and establishing sustainable operational practices.
Must have led and developed an engineering team, providing day-to-day direction, prioritizing workloads, conducting technical reviews, coaching team members, and supporting performance management and career growth
What You’ll Do
Team leadership experience — has led a small engineering team, assigned/prioritized work, coached developers, reviewed technical work, provided performance feedback and helped develop team members.
Own and evolve backend API services built with Node.js / NestJS running on AWS ECS.
Design and implement event-driven patterns using Kafka (AWS MSK) and caching with Redis.
Support and enhance file ingestion pipelines using S3, Lambda, schedulers, and Python/Node.js components.
Maintain and improve data sync workloads (e.g., AWS Batch/Lambda, scheduled jobs), ensuring correctness and recoverability.
Lead/participate in on-call and incident response, including post-incident RCAs and preventive improvements.
Improve CI/CD and engineering quality: GitHub Actions, Jest, performance testing (e.g., k6), static analysis/security scanning (e.g., SonarQube, Veracode).
Manage infrastructure changes via Terraform, including networking (e.g., NLB), observability, and runtime configuration.
Collaborate with Business stakeholders and partner teams on requirements, SLAs, and release planning.
Vendor transition & operational readiness:
Partner with the vendor team to drive structured knowledge transfer (architecture deep dives, incident walkthroughs, deployment procedures).
Build and maintain runbooks, support playbooks, and troubleshooting guides for APIs, ingestion, and sync processes.
Establish internal operational practices: alert tuning, dashboards, on-call processes, escalation paths, and post-incident RCA discipline.
Identify and reduce vendor dependencies (scripts, access, undocumented procedures), ensuring the internal team can operate independently.
Support a parallel-run period where internal engineers progressively take ownership of L1/L2/L3 support with vendor as fallback.
What You’ll Bring Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent amount of experience.
10+ years of software engineering experience, with strong backend development expertise.
Strong Node.js experience.
Solid experience operating production systems in AWS (ECS, Lambda, S3, RDS/Postgres, CloudWatch).
Comfortable with DevOps practices: CI/CD pipelines, containerization, observability, incident response.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform strongly preferred).
Proficiency with relational databases (Postgres) including performance troubleshooting and data integrity.
Strong communication skills and ownership mindset; able to lead technical decisions and mentor others.
Preferred Qualifications
NestJS preferred.
Experience with event streaming/messaging (Kafka/MSK preferred).
Python experience (for ingestion tooling or serverless components)
Experience with regulated/financial data flows, reconciliation, or integration platforms
Experience hardening systems for reliability (idempotency, retries, DLQs, backpressure)
