Mission
Your mission is to make MoneySmart HK’s social presence unforgettable. You’ll lead content creation and publishing across all social platforms—bringing financial content to life through smart, snackable, and scroll-stopping ideas.
This is a hands-on role that blends creativity with performance. You’ll ideate, produce, and optimise content that entertains, educates, and drives business impact.
You’ll report to the Senior Acquisition Marketing Manager and collaborate with content, design, commercial, and product teams.
Responsibilities
- Own and manage all MoneySmart HK social channels (e.g. Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Telegram, Threads, WhatsApp)
- Create and publish multi-format content: videos, carousels, memes, and short-form copy
- Monitor trends, platform updates, and local culture to craft timely and relevant content
- Partner with design and content to develop campaign assets that drive engagement and traffic
- Respond to audience comments and DMs; build feedback loops and brand affinity
- Support influencer collaborations and content partnerships
- Analyse performance metrics, run content experiments, and refine strategies
- Coordinate content calendars and align with cross-functional stakeholders
Skills Required
Content Creation & Execution
- Experience producing high-performing video and static content
- Comfortable using Canva, Instagram Reels, CapCut, or similar tools
- Bonus if you enjoy appearing on camera or directing short-form content shoots
Platform Expertise & Analytics
- Solid grasp of Meta tools, YouTube Studio, Telegram mechanics, and publishing platforms
- Able to interpret social insights (reach, engagement, shares, retention) and act on them
Communication & Collaboration
- Strong writing skills in English and Traditional Chinese
- Able to work with feedback, juggle multiple priorities, and deliver consistently
Requirements
- 1–2 years in social media, digital marketing, or content roles
- Native-level Cantonese and Traditional Chinese; strong English communication
- Up-to-date with social trends, formats, and platforms in Hong Kong
- Portfolio of past work (social accounts, video edits, campaigns) required
- Willing to travel for occasional shoots or create content from home
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in Marketing, Communications, Media or similar
- Shortlisted candidates will be invited to complete a brief editing/writing task
