Financial Advisory Specialist

We are growing and we’re looking for talents to come onboard our insurance team as a Financial Advisory Specialist based in Singapore.
Mission
MoneySmart Financial generates leads on its platform in the form of customers who are in the market for life and health insurance and who are interested in connecting with a Financial Advisory Specialist. Your mission will be to promptly call all the leads assigned to you, find out more about these customers’ life and health insurance needs, compare among the different available options, advise them on the best-suited option, assist them on the application process and facilitate the follow-up until the life/health insurance policy is officially issued. Post-sales servicing and customer retention in the form of reviewing their life/health insurance annually are also crucial aspects of this role.
You are expected to be highly responsive, provide top-notch service and competent advice, and get back to customers quickly in order to ensure excellent customer experience. You may need to be available outside of standard working hours because customers may not be available during the day due to work commitments. You are expected to be self-motivated, disciplined, accountable, and committed to achieving your monthly sales targets.
You will be working closely with our Senior Financial Advisory Manager to grow the business, drive sales excellence and foster a positive client-centric culture. This role offers an excellent opportunity to achieve great success on a personal and team level, contributing to the growth of the Group’s overall business in Singapore.
Responsibilities
- Provide holistic financial advisory services to new and existing customers of MoneySmart Financial
- Conduct financial planning and financial needs analysis for customers
- Provide recommendation and implementation of insurance solutions
- Foster and maintain strong customer relationships to deliver excellent customer service
- Handle all leads and enquiries assigned and expand customer base through referrals
- Deliver sales-related objectives and key results
- Ensure appropriate advisory practice and proper documentation
- Adhere to both internal policies and procedures as well as external regulatory requirements
Requirements
- At least 3 years of sales experience in the financial services industry, preferably in FA firms and/or insurance companies
- Good knowledge of financial planning and the insurance industry
- Sound understanding of insurance products and collective investment schemes
- Able to carry out duties independently with minimal supervision
- Able to learn and adapt quickly, working under pressure and time constraints
- Self-motivated with a resilient mindset to achieve objectives and key results
- CMFAS Modules 5, 9, 9A and HI qualifications; M8, M8A, BCP, PGI and ComGI will be an added advantage
