Human Resource Executive

 The salary for this position ranges from SGD 3000 to SGD 4,000 monthly, based on qualifications and experience.

Mission

The Human Resource Executive will play a key role in ensuring effective HR operations, supporting employee satisfaction/engagement, business goals and fostering a positive and productive culture at MoneySmart. This role will focus on supporting across various HR functions including recruitment, payroll, employee interaction / issue resolution, office administration and training & development.

The ideal candidate should possess strong organisational communication and interpersonal skills to ensure that HR processes run efficiently and align with the company’s strategic objectives.

Responsibilities 

  • Provide comprehensive support to employees across the entire employee lifecycle, including onboarding and off boarding processes, maintaining required personnel records and preparing employment-related documentation
  • Process employment visa and pass applications (including with the Ministry of Manpower in Singapore), ensure compliance with local regulations, and manage applications for government leave grants
  • Aggregate and submit monthly contractor and freelancer charges data to the Finance team for processing
  • Run the MoneySmart onboarding process for new hires, including contractors and interns, ensuring a smooth integration into the company
  • Manage off boarding procedures, including the update of HR data and employee profiles, and complete exit protocols while ensuring a positive employee exit experience throughout
  • Support HR processes across the business, including advising managers on HR policies and procedures, as well as partnering them on performance management issues, performance review processes, scheduling training/development opportunities and other ad hoc responsibilities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to enhance the contribution of HR operations towards  business objectives 
  • Actively connect with employees at all levels to gauge the organisational climate, promote open communication and identify opportunities for improvement 
  • Support internal communications on company platform(s) to keep employees informed and engaged 
  • Address staff inquiries related to HR policies, benefits and other HR-related concerns promptly and accurately 
  • Assist in organising company events and activities to promote team cohesion and enhance workplace morale
  • Provide HR analytics and reports for management. Leverage tools like BambooHR to streamline HR processes and inform data-driven decisions 
  • Stay updated on the latest employment practices, industry trends and regulatory changes in APAC regions to incorporate them into MoneySmart ways of working 
  • Undertake ad-hoc duties and projects as assigned to support organisational goals 

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of Generalist HR experience, preferably in a high-growth or start-up environment
  • Proven track record of partnering employees, including managers in HR operations and processes
  • Experience in all of the following; payroll, visa applications, employee onboarding / off boarding,  HR information systems and government surveys
  • In-depth understanding of employment practices in Singapore and Hong Kong, with knowledge of Malaysia and the Philippines also desired
  • Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively and build relationships with key stakeholders including senior leadership teams
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an ability to build rapport across all levels
  • High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, matrix environment with and able to organise workload effectively, including competing priorities
