We’re looking for a talented and enthusiastic Technology Risk Senior Analyst to join our growing Technology Risk Oversight team. You’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the security and resilience of our technology estate, protecting our customers' data and maintaining the trust they place in us. You'll be working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where you'll have the opportunity to make a real impact on how we manage technology risks.

Responsibilities:

  • Risk Assessment and Analysis:
    • Proactively identify and assess technology risks across Monzo’s cloud-native infrastructure and applications.
    • Evaluate the effectiveness of existing controls and recommend improvements.
    • Analyse and interpret risk data to provide actionable insights.
  • Risk Management:
    • Contribute to the development and implementation of risk management frameworks and methodologies tailored to a modern, cloud-first environment.
    • Monitor and report on the status of risk mitigation activities.
    • Assist in the development of risk appetite statements and tolerance levels.
  • Reporting and Communication:
    • Communicate complex technical risk information clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
    • Prepare regular risk reports and dashboards for management.
    • Foster a culture of risk awareness across the organisation.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Stay up-to-date with the latest technology risks, security trends, and regulatory changes.
    • Contribute to the continuous improvement of risk management processes and tools.
    • Share knowledge and best practices with the team. 

We’d love to hear from you if…

  • You have demonstrable experience in identifying, assessing, and mitigating technology risks within cloud-native environments.
  • You possess strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of interpreting complex technical information and risk data to provide actionable recommendations.
  • You have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to articulate technical risk concepts to diverse audiences.
  • You have experience in contributing to the development and implementation of risk management frameworks and methodologies, and a good understanding of relevant regulatory requirements.

📍This role can be based in our London office, but we're open to distributed working within the UK (with ad hoc meetings in London)
