Summary

We seek a highly motivated, pleasant, dynamic and detailed oriented individual.  The primary role of this position is to create engagement initiatives for a 800+ workforce and handle all event logistics from inception to execution.

This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, anticipates needs before they arise, and is passionate about creating a workplace where people can do their best work. 

Responsibilities

Employee Engagement & Events 

  • Collaborate with leaders to execute events, celebrations, and other engagement initiatives to celebrate our employees.
  • Support culture-building programs, volunteer initiatives and employee recognition efforts.
  • Plan activities tailored to department goals across multiple platforms.
  • Handle planning, implementation, and logistical needs for all events and engagement initiatives.
  • Develop content and materials for interest groups, fundraising and community outreach programs.
  • Responsible for completing pre and post logistic event checklists and takeaways and tie them to the goals.
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with staff, vendors, representatives of community and social and civic organizations.
  • Handle planning, implementation, and logistics for events, engagement initiatives, and volunteering and fundraising efforts, adhering to a strict budget.
  • Recruit and train volunteers for community outreach activities. 

Onboarding & Orientation 

  • Assist with Day 1 orientation and ensure new hires are set up for success by preparing welcome kits and manage onboarding logistics (Name tags, badges, Check in process, etc.) 
  • Collaborate with the recruitment team to deliver a world-class onboarding process, focusing on internal moves within CCC and employees moving to other Morgan & Morgan locations as well as help with recruiting process as needed.

Requirements: 

  • At least two (2) years of experience in office coordination, HR support, employee engagement, event planning, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously, maintaining composure and professionalism in a fast-paced environment with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Experience managing community outreach and social innovation program.
  • Proven ability at leading community engagement, and a passion spearheading initiatives that enhance Morgan & Morgan’s brand.
  • Ability to lift up to 30lbs. as needed.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as needed for events.
  • Proficient in Office365
