Marketing Lead — Moss Consulting HR Services Austin, TX | Full-Time | Hybrid (Southeast Austin, 2–3 days/week for first 3 months) $25–$40/hour depending on experience


About Moss Consulting

Moss Consulting is a people-first fractional HR and HR outsourcing company supporting small and mid-sized businesses across Texas, Phoenix, Denver, and expanding into Nashville and Oklahoma City. We are not a software platform — we are a team of HR professionals who show up in person, build real relationships, and take care of business owners and their teams in a way that larger companies simply cannot replicate.

We have nearly 20,000 combined followers across LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, and Facebook, and we've invested in the pieces of our marketing infrastructure: podcast/video studio, portable video equipment, brand guide, a team marketing portal, a strong SEO/AEO partner, an internal HubSpot Administrator, and a Podcast Manager for The Moss HR Minute.

The pieces are in place. We're now looking for the right person to coordinate them.


The Role

This is a brand new position at Moss Consulting, which means you'll have real input into how it takes shape. At its core, this role is about coordination and authentic storytelling — bringing together the people, tools, and content we already have and communicating the real value of what we do: the human connections, the genuine relief we give business owners, and the care our team brings to every client relationship.

We are not looking for cookie-cutter content. We believe that approach is uninspired and off-brand for who we are. We want someone who can tell our story in a way that actually makes business owners stop and feel seen.


What You'll Do

  • Manage and schedule social media posting across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube through HubSpot
  • Generate content that reflects Moss Consulting's brand voice and human-first positioning
  • Coordinate with our newsletter partner, blog team, Podcast Manager, and SEO/AEO partner
  • Work closely with our internal HubSpot Administrator to build campaigns, workflows, and reporting
  • Support Nicole Moss's monthly market growth trips with timely, market-specific content
  • Travel to Moss-sponsored events to help stage them, capture contacts, launch follow-up campaigns, and manage multi-city contact lists
  • Track analytics, engagement, and audience growth across all platforms
  • Build and maintain reporting dashboards in HubSpot
  • Grow into broader marketing leadership over time as the role and team expand

What We're Looking For

  • Genuine curiosity about people, business, and what makes a brand feel real
  • Strong organizational skills — this role coordinates a lot of moving pieces
  • Comfort working across multiple platforms and tools
  • Some experience with social media management, content coordination, or marketing operations
  • HubSpot, LinkedIn, and analytics experience needed — but we're willing to invest in developing these skills in the right person
  • Ability to travel to events as needed
  • Collaborative, self-directed, and excited to be part of a fast-growing team
