Overview

We are looking for a UK-based Social Strategist to join our growing EMEA team. The Social Strategist will be responsible for creating and managing innovative social media brand strategies and campaigns for our UK clients. This role requires experience in developing social strategies, building out content calendars, conceptualizing social creatives, and engaging with audiences on various social media channels.

Your goal is to drive efficiency, effectiveness, and creative impact across multiple social media channels for our EMEA clients. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams across account management, creative, data, and production teams to develop and execute holistic social media content plans. Additionally, you will oversee the day-to-day flow of social content across all touchpoints and platforms, ensuring seamless execution and consistency in delivery.

Social Strategy: 

  • Develop content strategies that align with the brand’s goals and support broader marketing objectives.
  • Understand and optimize content calendars for brands’ social media channels to support “always on” evergreen content and campaigns needs
  • Own and implement social and community management tactics for key product launches, events, activations to build connection with communities and broader audience passion points
  • Monitor content performance and develop weekly, monthly and contribute to quarterly analytics reports in order to identify & provide key insights, recommendations and track against KPIs.
  • Work with the data team to develop, present, and optimize weekly and monthly reports.
  • Identify platform and cultural trends for the brand to partake in on a daily and weekly basis and turn them into actionable briefs for creators,

Community Management:

  • Managing, creating, and conversing our clients' social communities
  • Assist in monitoring and reporting on consumer, industry and competitive trends, campaign initiatives, and community optimization
  • Ensure channel strategy plans support overall brand goals and objectives communicated from client
  • Facilitate communication with Creative Department for the creation of social media content
  • Summarize insights and listening observations to help create reports that lead to the optimization of social platforms
  • Generate, manage and maintain content calendars for all social communities
  • Post content in accordance with the Content Calendar
  • Respond to comments, when appropriate, to foster a positive community 

Creativity: 

  • Partner with the creative team to ideate and brief on fun, relevant content that ladders up to clients’ overarching social/channel strategies
  • Support content creation across TikTok, Instagram, X and YouTube to ensure delivery in a prioritized, timely manner while proactively finding opportunities and efficiencies to maximize content opportunities.

Innovation & Thought Leadership: 

  • Regularly analyze the competition and other best-in-class brands to inspire new ideas and executions – especially in new platform innovations.
  • Extend Movers+Shakers position as an industry thought leader with your insights and analytics.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • 4-6 years of client-facing social media management for a brand with multiple product handles and/or strategy experience in a creative agency setting
  • Extensive experience managing social media channels 
  • Strong experience in ideation and execution of different strategic approaches
  • Experience with and interest in TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, X, and Threads
  • Experience creating stories, carousels, or static content for different platforms 
  • Experience with data, analytics and content reporting
  • Strong copywriting and ideation skills
  • Passion for delighting clients and going above & beyond 
  • Super organized, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced sometimes working environment 
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite is a plus 
  • A self-starter with a finger on the pulse of new innovations and opportunities.
